Lovely hotel, really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was amazing. Used Ubers to go to Lagos.

Resort and accommodations were top notch. Room was beautiful and had everything we needed. Large deck off room, nice pool area. Close to beach. Only downside was you couldn’t walk into town where all the restaurants and shops were.

Great location. Nice people. Strange check out at 11am not 12.

Hotel location is amazing and restaurant is really good… room had minor issues but good overall… spa area had some functions that needed som maintenance but a great stay overall

The lady at the spa was rude. Rooms are like apartments but they charge for items including coffee pods, laundry pods and water. No regard to acknowledge a special anniversary and make it memorable. For what they charge, no breakfast or dinner included. Recommend staying in Ave. Descobrimentos where a B&B can be booked and you are closer to activities including a Mercado.

This is a beautiful hotel. The staff are friendly, the location is steps away from the beach and near an incredible walking trail that is breathtaking! The spa and couples massage was amazing! My wife and I enjoyed the Swedish massage which was exceptional! I had to take off one star from otherwise giving a 5-star rating because the cleaning staff (although they did a great job) came at various times during our stay instead of a fixed schedule. Also, I requested early on that our toilet seat needed to be fixed as one of the bolts was unattached causing it to shift around which was a bit annoying and did not get fixed during our stay. Other than those minor annoyances everything was great!

We had a wonderful stay in their 2 bedroom apartment. Spacious, clean, equipped kitchen , clean bathrooms! There is a private path to the nearby beach and the pool was fantastic ! Highly recommend!

Overall our stay was good.

The pools and facilities were nice. It’s in a convenient location to get to different parts of Lagos. Most nights we went to the old city to eat. We had a car, walking would be a bit far.

We had ants in the accommodation. We went to complain to reception, only to be told that it is normal to have ants in this part of the country... Employees came to spray the area around the apartment and nothing more. For the rest, it was well located, 3 minutes from the beach on foot.

The facility need to be better maintained and focus more on cleanliness (there was a bad smell in our room on the 1st night)

Great parking. Very friendly staff. Lots of pool options and a very short walk to the beach. Good views inside and outside the building. There is a combo washer/dryer but the dryer doesn’t work. Some scuffs and chips on the walls throughout the room but nothing major.

Beautiful property with very spacious apartments. The kitchen has everything you need. Large outdoor eating areas. I would add small sofas on the larger patios

Great location. Excellent staff. Food in restaurant was wonderful! However, the beds were incredibly uncomfortable. It was like sleeping on plywood covered by a sheet

I chose Belmar based on exceptional ratings on Hotels.com, and it lived up to those expectations. I would chose this property again for my next visit. We had a family of 4, so chose the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartments. Pros: - Very large, high end and bright apartment, with an oven, microwave, stove, fridge and freezer, dishwasher and laundry machine and a clothes rack. - a balcony by the kitchen for drying clothes or whatever - a big balcony by the living room with a large patio table for four. It overlooks the pool and is ideal for dining outside. - we enjoyed the breakfast that we paid for as part of our package - we enjoyed the buffet dinner. - 5 pools were great - nice landscaping Cons: - they have a pod based coffee machine and provide just 4 pods. If you ask for more they make you buy them. Not expensive but does not make sense. - parking is free but spots are small (compared to the US) and we had a challenge fitting into available spots, especially in the basement garage parking, which was filled with pillars) - finding the apartment in the complex is confusing the first time since it is on a hill and there are many doors and elevators and only specific ones to to specific apartments. As a comparison, a hotel in the US would have multiple entrances on the ground floor and all would lead to all floors and rooms most of the time and you could take any elevator to get there. - hot tub buttons weren’t working - gym was large but needs some upgrades

Mattresses need to be upgraded as were very uncomfortable Recommend hotel to do some kind of beach equipment rental for travelers from abroad ie. rent a beach umbrella or beach loungers

Staying at Belmar Spa and Beach resort was a great decision: the facilities were very clean and modern, the staff was friendly and hospitable, the food and drinks were cheap and tasty, the resort is a 2 minute walk from Praia de Mos (a gorgeous beach), decent gym, free parking. My only criticism is that guests are rationed to 1 beach towel per day, but overall 10/10 experience/would recommend to a friend.
