The staff was friendly and there’s a couple of fast food restaurants close by, also the room was nice and clean.

Room was clean had all we needed. Our room had a microwave and mini fridge that was a plus.

Clean hotel and owners on property that care about their business. A little dated but exceptionally clean. I would stay here again.

Only issue I had was the stained blankets.

Room had a musty smell, they offer minimum breakfast and waffle mix was spoiled. Towels were dirty. AC took 1 day to cool room. They are pet friendly but have no where they can potty on the property as its all asphalt.

The room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Desk staff very friendly and helpful. There’s some noise from the highway- ear plugs took care of that. The breakfast was just cereal and packaged pastries, which gave us the perfect excuse to go out for breakfast. Highly recommend Toni’s Courtyard Cafe in Merced. Great eggs Benedict and biscuits and gravy.

It was a one night stay but it was a very clean room an nice an quiet.

Nice clean rooms. Excellent and polite staff including housekeeping. Breakfast was ok but i didnt expect anything since it was not included in my reservation. Location is near where i needed to go and all the hotels are next to each other. Room price was very reasonable may be because of slow season of the year. Oh i forgot to mention that i love their beds, so comfortable. Thank you for excellent stay and we will be staying again when we come next time to visit our child at UCM.

It looked beautiful from the outside. Check-in was great and staff friendly. Inside, not so much. There was a BIG crack in the middle of our bathroom floor. Big enough to trip or stub your toe on. The shower was just nasty. Aside from also having cracks, it wasn't even clean. We skipped showering.

Better than I expected. It was nice having the coffee maker, fridge/freezer, and ironing board in the room. Bed was very comfortable.

Affordable price . Room is big for 3 of us. Staff are friendly.

The room was clean and medium sized. It was showing its age. Torn carpet edging by the door, worn tile in restroom, sink mounting getting loose. It had TV, microwave, and minifridge. The TV was smaller than most motels. It's situated on the frontage street right next to Freeway 99 and is quite noisy. Also, the BNSF railroad line is near, and trains can be heard. The continental breakfast has a limited selection and the hours are short: only 7-9.

Pleasant and friendly staff. Comfortable and clean bed. Air-conditioning worked. Shower small stall door wouldn't stay closed all the way, but it got the job done. Maid service came when needed and did a wonderful job. Window wouldn't close all tbe way so there was a little noise from passing vehicles. Pool nice. Breakfast nice but no protein. I would stay here! Thumbs up for the price 👍

Nice hotel closest to freeway lots a places to eat.

The hotel called me around 9 pm to see when I would be there, which I found strange. I informed front desk that I had 2 dogs the response was that they didn’t know that and luckily they had a room open downstairs. I made my reservation days in advance so I should have a room regardless. Our room was in the corner downstairs and smelt very strange and was muggy. The bathroom was very dingey and outdated. There was a large crack in the floor and the shower drained slow and the door wouldn’t close. While brushing our teeth we noticed the sink wasn’t draining. By the time we got into bed we noticed the sheets were still wet… we were disgusted and in a hurry to leave. Never. Ever. Would I stay here again. Whatever good reviews they have on here are very misleading. We preferred to drive through the night than stay at this sleazy place.

It was clean. The beds are very comfortable the only thing I did not like was the sink. It needs to be fix, not running water.

Front desk was friendly, room and linens were clean and beds were comfortable. However, the room needs renovation and the floor squeaked when you walk. We were gone all day and just needed a room to shower and sleep for one night, so I give it an ok.

This motel has a clean, very well lit parking lot and easy access from the 99. Check in was quick and easy, even though the office was locked when I arrived there was someone who arrived quickly to check me in. The bed area of the room looked nice. A medium size refrigerator, microwave and single cup coffee maker were available, although the coffee maker did not have a tray to put the coffee in, so coffee was made like tea by putting coffee pouch in cup and running hot water over it. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Table lamps had electrical outlets which made phone charging convenient. In stark contrast to the bed area was the bathroom. The bathroom was old. At night the shower is very dark with no light near it, only light over the sink. The sink, tile floor and countertop are very old (1960s ish). But they all were operational. One bath towel had a hole in it, one had stains. Location: on the 99, with a train track across the 99 so you hear traffic and trains. I would stay here again, but my husband would not. Calling this Gateway to Yosemite is odd, as it is far from Yosemite.

Really good people who work there. My towels and pillow cases were dirty. I always take me own. But it disgusted me. The table had sauce on it and the glass in the shower was broken. Smelled funky. Overall Cleanliness was not good but people and area was great
