The evening reception was an unexpected surprise.

Room that I reserved was not available and was put in most expensive room. Had to be moved from that room after 10 minutes because refrigerator was frozen up and door would not close and was beginning to thaw and leak on floor. Moved to less expensive room but was charged the same as the suite. Was told because they were booked up for the night. Refused to refund difference and said to call corporate or you guys. Will never stay here again.

Clean. Room made up each day. Cold AC. Breakfast good. Pancake machine was down. Coffee was robust in flavor. Oatmeal good so were condiments along side oatmeal. Happy hour was great. Reminded me when I was in college. Thank you.

BEDBUGS!!! We awoke at 0230 first night there when my wife was bitten all over in her bed. I immediately went to the desk and they gave me another room further down the hall so we moved everything. I told them they should not rent that room that next day until it was completely fumigated properlly yet I saw where housekeeping merely changed the bedding and the room was made available to another sucker. Not very smart thinking.

We were given a key to an occupied room. Once we got our own room, I didn’t feel safe staying or leaving my belongings in case a key was given out to my room.

The room is an average room, with the typical amenities. But the restroom had signs of mold. Looks like they keep painting over it.

The stay was great! The bed was a little hard for us. But the room was well appointed. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices. Easy to get to, fairly close to town. Occasionally I could hear creaking footsteps from room above but not often. Would stay here again.

I thought that if I reserved and paid for two nights then I would be able to stay for two nights. Unfortunately we attempted to check in very late and I was told our room was given away! Despite being charged. They said I was a no call and no show but I was just very late trying to check in. We took too long driving and tried to check in close to midnight and were turned away. We were able to check in the next day but the fact is I paid for two nights and could only stay one. No one attempted to make this situation right or to offer a refund. I am not sure if that’s the corporate policy or just this location. The people onsite were good and courteous. One star due to them giving my room away.

Hospitality scored a o at this property. Check in is posted for 3:00 and we arrived early trying to get in our rooms and the lady at the desk was bound and determined not to let us have them until 3:00 PM. Even though the hotel was almost completely empty “our” rooms were not going to be ready until then. We sat in the lobby and witnessed them checking other people in. I had always liked Holiday Inn Express until now. An experience that didn’t need to happen.

Both room and hotel were very clean. My room was a little be noisy due to next to working space and dining area. Except that everything is very good to me.

This was a very nice property. Too bad the pool and jacuzzi were not working. It would be nice to have good dining options within walking distance. But the welcome snacks and breakfast was great.
