Great place with a great location

This was like the 10th stay with Hotel Kundalini. So, I obviously love the hotel. It's about 100 meters north of the craziness of downtown Montanita You cannot hear anything but the ocean. It's a beautiful and tranquil place. The rooms are clean. They're quiet. They're set up nicely so you can immediately assimilate and get comfortable. I highly recommend the hotel. I think they're amazinly good at being helpful. ON a weird note, The car would not start. The owner personally drove to a car parts store and bought cables so he could jump our car! They took my stay or visit personally. No "hey call a tow truck". They jumped on it and fixed it and sent me on my way happier than I was when I arrived. Thank you!

Awesome place! Staff and facilities are superb. Beds could be a tad softer but that is the only thing I could find wrong with this place. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Beautiful clean hotel right on the beach.

The location was just perfect! The staff and the owner were friendly and helpful and the access to the beach was great. The hotel is relaxing and and great restaurants were just a beach walk away! Also very safe parking is available.

Lovely grounds - very lush and beautiful. We certainly wished that this place had a pool. It would be a terrific addition.

The property was on the beach and close to town for the action but quiet for the relaxation.

It's a wonderful hotel. Only issue is if you're mosquito sensitive...which I am. I would encourage you bring tons of repellant and a candle or two of citronella

This was our second time staying here and it was even more beautiful this time! A few minutes walk to the center of Montanita and right on the beach. Hammocks outside each room and a restaurant on-site. Breakfast included. We will definitely stay here again!

The property is beautiful and well cared for. They're eco friendly and well located, a quick 5 min walk from the makeshift bus terminal on the main road. I slept great despite the noise from neighbors and the discotheques [I am generally a light sleeper]. The private beach is a plus, though I didn’t mind the vendors on the one day that I ventured over to the public side. Montañita Beach is gorgeous but has a spaced out shore line. The young man did charge me tax at checkout; foreigners aren't supposed to pay taxes on hotels in Ecuador. The young man spoke great English, up until this moment. When I asked for an invoice, he said he couldn't understand me. Convenient. I will dispute with my bank. I'd still recommend the place, just be diligent.

Very quiet even it´s so close to the "party" area...

The hotel is wonderful with beautiful surroundings and friendly and attentive staff. Rooms are nice and spacious though there is none to little isolation between the rooms and hallway. Their spa and surf lessons is not available on demand/< 1 day booking and their recommendations is worth checking before doing it/booking to ensure you get all the info/details. The hotel is not located in Manglaralto, but in Montanita. There is a supermarket just a couple of minutes away and good food options in the town.

The hotel is located closer than town than to la punta. I was there to surf the point. For night clubs and restaurants. Its better to stay here . Most of the staff speak English and are very helpful.
