Bit further from center than wanted ..directions to hotel not good as road layouts have changed and nightmare getting to hotel.. could do with air conditioning

very good budget with stay in a calm / nice area. there's mcdonalds and carrefour just next two blocks aways. walking 10 minutes to La Rochelle old town center. specially the room is much lager than I expected! a wonderful experience to stay here!

The room was smaller than expected but clean and had enough of amenities. Shower was nice and strong. The highlight of the stay was the heated swimming pool.My three year old couldn’t get enough of it. Location was handy as well . Overall i am happy with the stay

The accommodation was basic but met all our needs. It was quiet, well located and well equipped. Great for a one night stopover.

Excellent value in an expensive town. The studio had everything we needed - a well-equipped little kitchen, good-sized bathroom with excellent shower, etc. Big comfortable bed. First-class breakfast. Even an indoor swimming pool, which we had all to ourselves. A 15-20 minute gentle level stroll into the old port - when you get to the end of the road you can walk along the waterside, so it's a pleasant journey. We found free parking in the street just opposite the door.

Great location, a 10 min walk to the harbour & town. Room was large & clean with kitchette for making my own meals. Breakfast area was small but had a good choice of foods.

I found the bed slightly uncomfortable. The air conditioner was not working.

No ac, no fan and no wind from the window made it terrible during the night. After asked three times about new light in the bathroom, they finally fixed it. No power in the power outlets in the room exept in the bathroom made it hard to charge phones and other stuff. Was never fixed.

Limited access to Wifi! Only 3h of Wifi and a hassle with register to some account. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable, creaking with every little move. The pool was not clean, found a lot of hair in there. Quite good location.

A quiet residential area, with a safe feel about it. The Résidence Lagrange Vacances LEscale Marine offers a wonderful, typically French breakfast, with everything you would expect. The room was well equipped with a kitchenette with facilities to cook, as well as fridge, microwave and kettle. We would return without hesitation.

Break on drive up to Cherburg Hotel very well situated near the old port. Good value for money and staff were pleasent. Very convenient with short walk to the old port area

The hotel is not the best, but it in a great location for access to walking around the maritime quarter of La Rochelle.

The Hotel is well located and within easy walking distance of the old port area, restaurants and shopping centre, Parking problematic unless you use the Hotel underground parking at a cost of 9 Euros per night. Whilst the apartment does have a small kitchen, it is minimal and poorly equipped. It is surprising that this recently built hotel does not have air conditiong. It was 30 degrees when we were there in mid September.

This property is great if you want to be spending most of your time out and about. It is very clean and the staff are helpful. The pool is a nice addition and very warm! Only issue we had was the comfort of the beds.

The we in the first rm was continuously filling so we changed rooms, only to find the shower tray blocked in the second room. The wi if was poor and they did not warn anyone that it’s switched off after 10pm so when you get back to your hotel no internet. The rooms were clean. The bed was comfortable, I like a hard mattress. We were very near to everything plus there is a well stocked supermarket round the corner. No noise at night. But during the day or anytime you opened your windows you could smell the smokers from the green areas below.
