First, the carpet is stained from chemical spills all over the halls. The first room they sent us to had not been cleaned even though we checked in at about 7 p.m. The second room did not have soap and was dusty, and the metal on lamps and such was rusted. Then, when we got back from dinner, there were roaches on the lamps and beds. I guess the one bright point was we got a refund and luckily found another room in town for the evening.

This was the second stay booked via Hotels.com for this trip and again disappointing
One room was not ready when we arrived at the hotel. This was after me phoning the hotel 3 hour before we arrived, and they confirmed that everything will be ready.
We had to go to reception several times to check if the room was ready.

The evening check-in girl was very friendly. My room smelled very musty and the bathroom had a very overwhelming ammonia smell. I should've told them to switch rooms but I was tired. Then I couldn't sleep because of the smell.

When we arrived there at approximately an hour after the official check-in time, Our room was not ready, the front desk worker said she will move us to another room, when we got to that other room, the floor was soaking wet, and the housekeeper was still cleaning the room. The housekeeping staff said “ Why would she send you to the room cleaning it? “We had to leave and return after the room was cleaned. When we returned, the room, smelt musty, very musty, I went to the front desk and told the staff how bad the room smelt. She moved us to another room which had a broken chair, we were able to switch, the chair from the previous room into the present room. As I enter the bathroom, there were two cockroaches crawling on the floor, and cockroaches under the fridge. I requested some roach spray. She brought me a big plastic container with a spout and a spray gun attached to it. And sprayed the room During the night there was a roach crawling in the bed, I reported to the front desk. They told me that they changed exterminators, I assumed she was trying to tell me that there is nothing they can do. I will never stay at that property again and will not recommended it to anyone. It is a shame that Wyndham would put its name on such a property. Maybe Wyndham, it’s not aware of the terrible state of that property.

1. Virtual service, desk worker was multi-tasking and occasionally at desk. 2. At least on key did not work, never resolved, see 1. 3. Carpet in room was damp.
4. Breakfast was poor. 5. TV image was incredibly fuzzy and red in dark scenes. TV is quite old.
At best La Quinta is a 2.5 out of 5. This hotel is a 1 out of 5.

The staff were great--super friendly, helpful. All the things you want in a customer service individual.
However the room smelled musty--like it had been sitting closed up for too long. I asked for an air freshener, which they gladly provided and also suggested lowering the temp on the A/C unit to help with some of it. The armchair in the room also had a feel to it like it had been sitting in a damp climate, not quite moist, but sticky to extended touch.
Overall the hotel was good but it could use a deep clean, and possible some new furniture.

The reception at check-in acted like we were inconveniencing them. The room was in poor condition - items such as cracked tiles, light fixture hanging from bathroom ceiling, spots on the walls needing to be fixed and painted. I would not recommend this location and would not stay here again.

I can’t complain too much. This was a place to stay. However, the sheets had stains and the pillow cases were worn down. Also, the shower had tons of mold in it. If you’re coming here for a quick trip, it’s not a bad option. I wouldn’t stay more than one night here.

This property is in need of a serious makeover. The carpets are filthy and stained, the rooms smell like mildew, the chair in the room was greasy and dirty. I paid way too much to sleep in such a nasty room. Never again.

We found the layout and room size good, but service mediocre, room floor sticky, soap left from previous customer, stairwell not usable, a breakfast was poor. At least two workers on a cell phone, or tending kids,orsmoking outside the front door. Not professional.

We went down for breakfast in the lobby and when we returned our key would not open the door. Went back to the lobby and was given a new key. It did not work. We had to go down to the lobby three times to finally get someone to come look at our door. It was determined the battery in the lock was dead. Battery was changed and problem solved (an hour later). Also pets (not service) were allowed in the breakfast dining area although there was a sign clearly stating no pets in the dining area.

Our first room reeked of cigarette smoke in a no smoking property. Our next room just smelled old and musty. We had to run our air at 66 to keep the smell tolerable and the room cooled. Our room key messed up about every single day. So we'd get up to the 3rd floor then have to go back down because key didn't work. Very frustrating. They'd tell us not to put it by our phones and we NEVER did, but they'd still not work. Breakfast bar had zero protein options, but you could load up on carbs if you liked waffles, biscuits, or english muffins. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.

Decent value for a bed to spend the night in. Was about $30 to $50 less than Hilton and Holiday Inn options within a mile or two. Was clean enough. If you have a room on the side where the John Deere dealer is, pull those shades tight cause they light that parking lot like a stadium.

We stayed there 2 different times in one week. The first time we woke up with huge bites on our arms that lasted about 4 days. I had 2 bites, and my husband had 3. We stayed there again 3 days later in a different room and had no bites the next day.
