The carpet needs cleaning. Gave off an unpleasant smell. Breakfast was good and front desk service was great

It was ok, read the reviews and they were pretty spot on. $300 deposit on check in because we booked 3rd party and the pillows are terrible! Those pillows need an upgrade 100%. Small, square and very lumpy & hard. All 8 in the room. No extra pillows in room. I think the beds were also doubles, not queens. They seemed smaller than a queen. The pool however was great, the slide was a hit and those kids would come out like rockets, they had a blast. The property has dated decor and dark however it was very clean. Didn’t get to try the breakfast.

Staff was friendly. Quick to check in. Just wished they had put the ashtray not right by the door. Didn't help the group of men were also smoking weed so had to wait for them to finish before letting my daughter out of the vehicle and bring her inside.

My job was done a day early, they still charged me for 5 days even though I checked out at 8 am on the 4th day,
Manager said because I booked 3rd party they had to change the dates of stay, did the chat feature, they said the problem is on the property end as they were taking the payment not them.
Then the manager said they didn't clean the room because it was a 5 day stay and were not going to refund the 5th night , as they couldn't clean it to put back in service..
Will not recommend this hotel to anyone working in fort Saskatchewan

Cancelled our reservation and many others at last minute to get more money. (Lied and Sayed it was a gas leak then a water leak) Scammer hotel. Every customer should be treated equal. Will not deal with them again. Never trust someone that going to put you on the street for the almighty dollar. Wont even refund me after they did this to my wife and I.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Comfort Inn at Fort Saskatchewan. The rooms were spacious, clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were nice checking in and out!

Stay was overall ok, other than front desk called at 930 when my kid was sleeping, then after phone rang 4 more times, waking up my child, I had to unplug the phone, kids running up and down the hallways at all hours. Most likely will never stay there again

Easy check in process, nice hotel and amenities. Staff friendly and helpful. I wish there was better lighting in the room and a smart TV would be a nice touch. Also be aware you have to get towels at the front desk for the pool, they don’t have them in the pool area which I didn’t realize the first time we went in. But other than that the pool was very nice and overall great experience!

The property was average. First room we had the AC was broken abs pumped put warm air. We got moved and the room was okay, but had easter chocolate under the mattress. So obviously isn't being checked. The breakfast attendant was not cleaning tables, and people had to sit at dirty tables. Juice was very watered. The pool area has moss & algae growing on floors, dirty used bandages, even the slide stairs are covered in a dark brown viscous sediment. With other options around town we wouldn't be back.

No where does the page state that you are required to have $300 deposit for a room we prepaid for our $109 room ! They blame Expedia and said it’s their requirement. They were not friendly and the things they said made no sense like if you book direct with the hotel you don’t need that deposit almost felt like punishment. As a parent that was sickening to have a really high unexpected deposit and it should be stated on the booking page you need 3x your room rate

Hotel was clean. Room was clean. Pillows absolutely sucked. They were the size of throw pillows and were so uncomfy. The pool, hot tub and waterslide were great. When we got there they had a birthday party going on in the pool and all the little ones shrieking was to much to handle. Went back to the pool after they left and it was much better. This hotel hosts kids birthday parties so the pool isn’t only used for guests. Hot breakfast was good. No complaints other than pillows and loud kids in the pool (which isn’t hotels fault)

We visited over a busy couple of days with the near by dance festival. The hotel was busy!
The only negative comment I have, which is no fault of the staff, is how noisey it was!
You could hear until late into the night other guests in their rooms and hallways. The rooms are not very soundproof which made the early mornings a bit more difficult. Otherwise, the stay was good.
