Very friendly staff, their food is good and authentic of the area, if you want to stay away from tourist food this is the place to stay. Great experience overall, 10/10 recommend.

Property was well located to pompeii site, places to eat, drink etc. Around a 10 minute walk.

Just perfect. A Mum and daughter weekend. We were made to feel at home as soon as we arrived, nothing is to much trouble for this amazing couple.. Our room was clean and spacious. The dinner was insane.. Home cooked and so many dishes were brought out. Definitely eat here at least 1 night of your stay. A pool to cool off in after 20k steps a day was just what I needed and with only a few mins walk, you are at the ruins and train station what more could you want. I will definitely be back for another visit..

I booked this for my daughter and her partner, and I was disheartened to hear that the conditions of the room was not up to scratch. It was too close to the train line, running from 5 am until 11:30 pm. The room was run down, mould in the bathroom, hair in soap dish, no pillow protectors. You can feel the mattress springs in your back. The room was dark and dingy, all in all very disappointing. The only positive was the location and the shuttle service.

Villa Franca is a quaint family run villa with a very private feeling. Even when sharing with other guests it's a family feeling as 7 rooms total. Good size pool and plenty of sun loungers considering the small number of rooms. Good Mediterranean breakfast spread each morning and definitely recommend the Dinner option if you like big meals. Home made Italian food with typical multiple platters. 4 courses. The family who run this villa are fantastic. They go out of thir way to ensure you have a great time. At the same time it's really relaxed. Drinks available throughout the day and you just settle up at the end of holiday. The villa is close to the ruins of Pompei so it's an easy day out. Close by is a selection of shops and restaurants plus the station which makes trips to Napoli, Sorrento and the amalfi coast very easy. There was only 1 negative - the trainline being so close. It didn't matter in the day as other noise like music and chatter are also there. However at night there were a couple of trains (it's not a busy track) which disturbed our sleep. Would advise packing some of the soft earplugs. We definitely will for our next visit. Would definitely go again because all the positive experiences far outweigh the train noise.

What a lovely family run Villa, wish we stayed more than one night. The rooms were clean and comfortable. So awesome to be able to get refreshed in the pool after a long day of travel. The owners were super friendly and helpful in giving information. There was even a cute cat that would come by to say hello. Breakfast was simple continental with fresh cappuccino. Would stay again.

Hosts were friendly, helpful and speak English. Breakfast was good, dinner very good. Poolside breakfast room.

Close to the park even both train stations are walkable

Excellent location next to rail tracks where you can hop the train. The host accommodated our very late check in two hours after check in closed as we had various issues on the way there. Comfortable bed, great breakfast, can leave car there protected and walk to do Pompeii Ruins. Only issue is train is noisy late and early, but not middle of the night.

Great value for money. Recommend the homemade dinner option, it was delicious. Owners were very friendly. This is not a Hilton or Marriott, it is an authentic family run motel/hotel. Would stay again when visiting. Short walk to Pompeii Free secured parking on site.

Excellent hosts, very friendly and accommodating, The pool was small but refreshing. you MUST have dinner there at least one night the home made itilaian dinner they provide is absolutely incredible. 10 minute walk to Pompeii archaeology site And to the train station is a 7 minute walk. Would stay here again, great value for the price. Spacious rooms.

The Villa is situated close to the Pompeii ruins and train station. The value for money was good and facilities available met our needs. Cleanliness was good with the room being cleaned daily. The owners were friendly and very informative with their local knowledge and suggestions. We would recommend Villa Franca to others. The atmosphere is friendly but not intrusive. Giuseppe, Dominick and Amy were fabulous hosts and marvelous chefs. Our room was not exquisite but modern and extremely clean.

Very nice place!

This is a small, basic, family run hotel. They are friendly - cook great food - we ate there every night though we hadn’t planned to and breakfast is plentiful and tasty. It isn’t especially pretty, the beds and pillows are a bit tired but it was very clean with lots of hot water and although the circumvesuviana trains run past the property they do not run especially late or early and so it was not a problem. It also literally borders the Pompeii ruins and is a short walk to the trains and buses that go from there to local sites - the train runs between Naples and Sorrento. Extremely good value - but don’t expect 5 star luxury at these prices. Will definitely go back.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and nice. There is a lovely pool and garden and breakfast is included. It is next to rail line but has a railfan that was a bonus for me. Station and archeological site within walking distance.

The staff are absolutely amazing! Kind and considerate... the property is unpretentious and relaxing, dinner was wonderful. We would visit again anytime.

amazing place all around. literally a 5 minute walk away from pompei which was also right across the street from the train station (which had restaurants and a little shop with essentials), which made getting to sorrento/the amalfi coast super easy. the place was very quiet and peaceful, and the neighbourhood felt safe. dinner is provided as long as you let them know in advance and the food is great and authentic. we felt welcomed like family, and the dinner area was a great place to meet other people staying at the villa. absolutely recommend to anyone visiting pompei!

This was a gem of a find. It may not have 5 star decor, but dont let that fool you. The family who run the Villa are amazing, very friendly, cant do enough for you and are very knowledgable. We ate here every night and wow, just wow. The food was out of this world. Its a set menu which changes daily, but if you dont like something theyll happily change it. It is also within 10 mins walk of pompeii, and the station for Herculaneum, Sorrento and Naples. We will come back here.

We spent two weeks in Italy (Rome, Pompei and Sardinia). Villa Franca was one of our favourite places to stay (we are a family of four). Why? The owners are absolutely wonderful people. The Napoli hospitality was right there...cooked dinner, great conversation, etc. I just wished we had stayed longer. Also, the location is ideal for visiting the Pompei ruins. The property is cute and clean. The dinner they made for us was delicious and abundant! The owners are so welcoming and helpful! We really enjoyed meeting and chatting with other travelers. It was a great place to gather and swap travel stories.

Very good stay directly at the Pompeii ruins. We have hade marvelous dinners during our stay, very friendly family owning the place. The room was old but the dinner at the hotel made everything worth while.

Cosy and friendly. Nice, healthy and good dinner. Recomended. Close to the pompeji. Just Walk 10 minutes. Only minus the noise from the train.

It is a nice B&B. Service is excellent, the food is good, the rooms are cleaned every day, there is a swimming pool and if you need help with anything (for example a taxi or printing out the results of your COVID-19 tests for your flight home) the owner is very willing to help. It is also close to everything, including the ruins of Pompeii and the station nearby. So I can highly recommend this place.
