My stay was pleasant and without incident. The facility was quiet, clean and there was plenty of parking. The front desk agent was kind and efficient; check in and out was a breeze. The room was very nice, clean and stocked with lots of towels. The complimentary breakfast was really good and the coffee was excellent. The hotel had a 15% off coupon for Kobe Ninja Steakhouse. This was the first time I had ever gone to a steak house and the food was so bad. We were not pleased with the food and the service could’ve been better. I would suggest going to one of the other restaurants in the area. Other than dinner, my stay was great and definitely would stay again and recommend them to friends and family.

This is our second time at the Hampton Inn in Bangor. The hotel is great. All the staff are very nice and helpful. The breakfast is great to start the day of hikea for our family.

Nothing is more frustrating than choosing a hotel carefully based on amenities and then finding out they are not available when you arrive. Picked this hotel because it had a pool and hot tub, but they were not working during our stay. Furthermore, there was zero cell service in our room. WiFi was ok, but couldn't make any calls. Stains all over the hallway carpet. Front desk staff very nice and welcoming but definitely would not stay again.

The room smelled like cat urine. It was visually clean. But strong odor of cat urine. Pillows smelled like an elderly person’s dirty hair. Clean pillow cases but the pillows smelled bad.

My wife woke up with bed bug bites. There was not hot water for morning shower - confirmed by front desk who said 2 boilers failed during night.

Very clean and nice room. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. The hot water heater broke so no hot water....but things happen and its always about the response for me..they offered a later check out to accommodate us

We had a great time at this hotel. It was very friendly and clean to stay at the staff were exceptional. The only biggest downfall that we had was that the pool was down for maintenance and that was literally the entire reason we went on vacation was to go use a pool for the kids And because it was down we couldn’t use it. They did have the option that we could’ve went to the hotel across the street to use their pool, but we didn’t want to do that because we thought it would be extremely crowded with the hotel guest from that hotel plus our hotel , and it was just an inconvenience to have to lug the kids across the street with their swim gear and everything and then lug them back again again with their swim gear and wet and tired after swimming

Nice place. Perfect for a short stay. The area it's in is lacking. Not much opportunity to walk anywhere, the area has had better days.

Stayed 2 nights the beds weren't made and we didn't get clean towels had to request them at 10:00 p.m. after along day of being out. Other than that the stay was excellent

We arrived at midnight and it took 30 minutes for the night employee to come to the counter even after we called the front desk repeatedly. It was so odd and unsafe that we almost called the local police incase there was something that had happened to the staff member. We were then shocked with the unapologetic rude female that checked us in, this was the worst customer service we have ever seen. We made a formal complaint and we are not fussy travellers.

We were there for a funeral, not knowing there was a Luke Combs concert in town. The prices were inflated, (twice the regular price) because of the concert. The room smelled like dirty socks, and there was a large hole in the carpet. Housekeeping barged into the room, after I responded to their knock, telling them to come back later. I was in a towel, and it was a male housekeeping staff member. The breakfast buffet was lacking in healthy options. No fruit or yogurt. Not a great experience.

Except for their lack of daily cleaning of rooms (hate Hamptons policy of there three night and no cleaning, towel refresh or trash removed), the staff was helpful and friendly. Cool town and convenient to many things.
