Great Place to stay

We were not aware that this property was under construction. We asked for a discount because only one floor was open. Even the lobby restroom was closed. We were told that they priced accordingly, but clearly it was not as our friends stayed in a nearby hotel for even less. The front office staff was rude and non communicative about my concerns.

Construction was going on and was not disclosed prior to booking

We checked in knowing they were doing renovations however they did provide in an email that the pool would be ready weeks before our arrival. Had we known there was no pool on site, we would have NEVER booked. When we checked in, we found out the pool wasn’t ready. We were provided a percentage off our stay - but it was quite disappointing. They assured us the pool would be ready the next day after we checked in, yet it was never ready until the day of our departure. They offered accommodations at a sister hotel for their pool, but it was over a mile away, about a 13 minute walk. They did offer a free shuttle service but that didn’t start until 11am so the whole morning was wasted. We had to switch rooms mid stay because the AC wasn’t working in our room - the new room we checked in to had dirty towels and the vents in the bathroom were clogged with dust. When we checked out, nobody from management even acknowledged that they told us the pool would be ready Sunday and yet never was until the very afternoon before our departure. Disappointing. Everyone was very friendly and the location is perfect for restaurants but overall very disappointing stay and I wouldn’t stay here again.

I have stayed there many times before and have always been a satisfied customer. The hotel is currently goung through a MAJOR renovation While the staff was nothing but amazing and did all they could to make my stay positive it should be noted on Hotels.com before booking able to be confirmed and paid for.

The hotel was under construction. Smelled horrible. Dirty everywhere. Hotel employees were hanging out at the make-shift bar area. Smelled musty and humid. They gave us a room upgrade to an ACCESSIBLE room!! We asked for a king and not double beds it were not i formed it was accessible. Floors were slippery in the room. Bed li es and towels smelled. Pillows and bed lines were dry and did not smell clean. We were supposed to stay 2 nights and left after the first. Horrible experience!

Maintainence on going. Poor water supply to room. High parking price. Price high for room considering. Will not come back.

I was not made aware that there was ongoing construction and the closure of amenities when i booked the reservation. There was active construction going on directly next to the breakfast tables and it was VERY disruptive. Breakfast was stale. The room was dusty and dirty, and the shower ran cold. I used to love Hyatt locations, but i will never stay again.

Very friendly staff

It's an excellent property, with an exceptional, caring staff. The rooms are large, very clean and well kept by their housekeeping staff. Although, the hotel is currently under a major renovation and some amenities were not available. All in all, it was a pleasant stay, within walking distance of the nightlife in downtown Delray Beach.

Great pool, location, staff, everything!

The young gentleman that checked us in was so nice and helpful. We got back to our room late on Saturday and I wanted a glass of milk, I had searched at many locations and could not find milk to buy. This young man, happily got me a cup of milk from the back. Made my night. He was so pleasant. That being said, the hotel is under renovation so be prepared for limited rooms. Our room only had a view of the pool, which is closed, The blind would not open. The TV was strange because we could not find one channel where the words that people were saying were delayed in the output. It was very off putting and not very helpful in relaxing. We wanted to sleep in on Sunday morning and there was something that sounded like a jack hammer that started at 0945 am. It was on and off for almost an hour. Ruined our relaxing Sunday morning. I think that if they are going to charge $24 for parking that, at the very least, we should be able to get a good nights sleep. Overall, it was a nice place to stay, but the issues that I have mentioned certainly took the romance and relaxation out of our weekend.

We showed up at the hotel and they did not band a room to accommodate, despite us reserving and paying for a room. We booked a room with two queens and a pullout couch to accommodate 5 people, and they offered us a room with one king size bed. Unacceptable. The only good thing about the trip was the hotel we found on our own down the street that we loved. I'm incredibly disappointed in my hotels.com experience. What is the point of reserving a specific room if they are not going to have it?

Under renovation and older property

It's a tourist area outside of the hotel, with many restaurants and shopping. The beach is about 10 minutes walk away.

This has got to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed. Gave 3days notice pool was closed and there was construction. Did absolutely nothing to accommodate us. Had to change rooms because of mildew smell. Didn’t change from other room. Told we could use pool at “sister hotel” but were kicked out by security. Was totally embarrassing. First and last time I will ever book a Hyatt hotel. Breakfast over by 9:00 am. No amenities in room. The hotel furniture is worn out and dated. The hotel is trashed. Problem is they did nothing make up for the inconvenience. Started hammering at 8:00am. Elevators had construction debris all over them. There is definitely mold in this hotel. They had fans blowing in hallways to try to get rid of the smell.

Overall good experience. They are remodeling so a lot of construction noises during the day between 8am and 5pm but I was mostly out and about during those hours. I’ve stayed here before, would stay again and would recommend. Great location!

Friendly & accommodating staff perfect location!

Walking distance to the beach, great jobs and amazing restaurants.

Currently being renovated. Pool is closed but you can access one at another hotel many blocks away. I personally thought that $25/night to park was ridiculous breakfast was fair. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

Great staff! Great breakfast! Beautiful area! Cant wait for the renovation to be over then it would be perfect! A bit noisy! But love the place, staff, and overall stay!
