good location

Our room and bed was nice and comfortable, especially the bed. I only gave three stars because of the pet odors. I didn't realize the hotel was pet friendly. The staff was nice and helpful.

The girl at check in was great. She was cheerful and very helpful. The hotel looks like it has been updated. The hotel and room were clean

We checked in really late after a long drive, and put the do-not-disturb signs on our rooms. At about 10 am, there is loud knocking in the hallway at every door with yells of “Guest Services!”, which we try to ignore. The knocking makes it to our rooms, and to our shock, they just unlock the door and come in when we don’t say anything back. It was to do something with the WiFi Access Points, as if we cared while we’re sleeping. I've never have staff blow through a currently occupied room’s door when there is a Do Not Disturb sign. We got shrugs and half-hearted apologies from the desk staff. We had booked 4 nights, but packed up and left immediately, finding other accommodations.

Convenient for a nice overnight.

Very clean. I have issue with bathroom; we had an accessible room", but the bathroom floor extremely slippery.I almost fell. And no chair in tub which was also very slippery. My husband not able to take shower. (Pics are of view from window)

Convenient location, easy to get to, Check in went smoothly. The room was nice enough, but when I used the bath mat to wipe up some water I had spilled on the bathroom floor, it was obvious the floor was dirty. I called the desk to set a wake up call for the morning. I woke up before the set time, and after a few minutes realized that the wake up call had never come. I called the desk and was told their alarm system was down. Period. I asked why someone didn't call me directly, but the clerk just repeated that the alarm system was down.

Great as usual. I haven’t been in a bad Hampton yet. Staff was super friendly and cool. Will stay there again if I end up in Dayton again.

Ice machines on two different floors wouldn’t give ice. Coffee can sized trash cans were pointless in the rooms.graffiti on the wall between the main elevators on first floor was trashy looking. A paint roller would have fixed it 5 minutes, but it made the overall niceness of the lobby area look rundown and careless. Beds were very clean and comfortable. Above average in my travel experience. Staff were nice and accommodating.

During our 3 day stay, I had interactions with 8 different staff members. All were extremely courteous, professional, and accommodating. The included breakfast, was your average continental style, but the customer service of those preparing the breakfast was outstanding. There were areas of the building that were a little messy/dirty, but it's only because they're in the middle of renovations/remodeling. My family and I, would definitely stay here again.

The breakfast area was under construction, I would have appreciated knowing that before booking. Other than that it’s a very clean posted Hampton. Staff was nice also.

The Hotel was under construction. This was not mentioned when we booked. There was no lobby and no breakfast room. The breakfast offered was cold cereal and packaged muffins and sandwiches that had to be microwaved in your own room.

The beds were uncomfortable too hard

The front desk rep was very professional and nice. The room was clean but it has a funny odor, like vomit. The bed and pillows were comfortable to me, but my husband thought the mattress was too hard. Towels, bathroom, shower & shower curtain were clean. Water flow was great and no problems with drainage.

Very friendly and loved pet friendly very accommodating

There is no intent access unless you sign up for their Hilton Rewards program. The fan on the wall unit was very noisy and we were unable to turn it down or off at the unit or from the wall control. When we attempted to call the front desk from the room phone to tell them about this, we discovered the cord was broken and could not be plugged into the phone so my husband walked down to the front desk. He was advised that they did not have anyone there at that time (approx 9:30 p.m.) to repair it and offered to move us from first floor to fourth floor. We decided to stay where we were since we had a long day of traveling, all our things were out in the bathroom and closet, and we wanted to get to bed soon. Also the first impression pulling into the parking lot was not good. They are in the process of remodeling the upper floors (we were told), and there were several dumpsters and sink cabinets with installed sinks in the parking lot. If nothing else these should have been stored at the rear of the building, not the front. We won’t be staying here again.

Sheet too small for king bed. Bed comfortable. Clean. Cordial staff. Breakfasts good.

Staff were excellent and so was the service. Unfortunately there was a youth group staying at the same time and children were running in the halls until 11PM.

Convenient area clean hotel

We liked staying at the Hampton Inn. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The room we had was clean and the beds were comfortable.

Staff was very pleasant. After a long day on the road, I didn't really appreciate being given keys to a room that didn't work. The front desk clerk cut new keys and directed us to a different room. Oops! He goofed. Breakfast was wonderful and the woman staffing it was both pleasant and efficient.

Hampton Inn is normally my go-to hotel as it is always clean, comfortable and the staff pleasant. This was the first time I was ever disappointed in a Hampton Inn stay. When I checked in on the afternoon of 9/14, I was immediately hit with just how unprofessional the staff was. They were all sitting in the lounge area, some with their shoes off and feet up, watching TV. As I went in and out throughout the evening, that did not change and as I passed employees they smelled very strongly of marijuana (Which is not legal recreationally on OH). Beyond the staff, the front doors to the lobby are cracked with packaging tape over the cracks that looks to have been that way for a while. My room was not thoroughly cleaned, with a dirty toilet, hair in the shower and even a wad of toilet paper sticking out of the peep hole on the door. The linens on the bed were clean, but very stiff and scratchy. We did not sleep well at all during our stay. I did not bring any concerns up to the staff since they seemed so unprofessional I was not comfortable bringing up any issues I had with them. I think I may have to go with a different hotel for my next trip.

I had read that Dayton had good, unique pizza places and asked the front desk staff if there was a local pizza place close. Marion's was right behind the hotel and it was sooo yummy. Great suggestion. There were a lot of restaurants very close to this hotel. Great location!
