Rated slightly less than excellent since we didn't get the full experience because our stay was the weekend of Hurricane Lee with no power for most of our stay. That said the owner was on site, attentive and keep in communication. Would not hesitate to stay again.
Beds are soooo comfortable.

We loved this place. Clean, comfortable, simple yet stylish decor, and the proprietor was welcoming & thoughtful. We enjoyed sipping the (delicious!) complimentary coffee while looking out over a meadow full of wild flowers and the ocean in the distance.

Cannot wait to stay here again! It was a thoroughly wonderful experience!

Sweet, basic motel right on Route 1. The traffic dies down in the evening. A place to sleep and shower. No breakfast, but the morning coffee is outstanding!!

A charming and unique place to stay. We enjoyed a dip in the pool and later a firepit. Very clean. Soft cotton sheets and extra pillows.

The White Birches Motel in Hancock, Maine should be taken out of your coverage of lodgings offered- a dumpster would be equivalent

The Lincolnville stay met expectations and served its purpose. It is not an elaborate facility; don't expect a Hyatt with an atrium. Inn is near the seashore (perhaps a quarter mile distant) but has no frontage on the ocean so don't expect to be viewing the ocean or sitting on a chair on a beautiful beach. Service is adequate. No breakfast. Facilities tend towards absolute basic and done with budget in mind. Cleanliness was quite adequate. Again, rooms were very basic, not dingy (no complaints there) and were clean. This served as and adequate (perhaps good) basic hotel/motel stay. Nothing exciting but acceptable.

Simple, cute cottage with all the basics you need. Owner was very friendly and informative. The cottage was very clean, which is very important to me.

This place is such a great place! Clean, fun, quirky and a bit retro. It's a beautiful location, and the bed was comfortable. Staff was great, and our little dog loved it. We can't wait to stay again!

Sweet little cottages, the owner is great. View over the top of trees through the water sometimes not visible due to fog but still very pleasant view from the balcony. Nice touches from music to flowers.

What a wonderful place to stay! Alice the owner was a delight to meet, and while my little family of my husband myself and my infant only stayed one night, we had such a great time enjoying the sunshine, pool, and bonfire at the Lincolnville hotel. There was hot coffee in the morning and the rooms were very cute. We will be back!

Charming, clean, well maintained property! Lots of perks like nice bath and body products (Malin + Goetz), hair dryer (which is not listed on the website), and free firewood and charcoal for the firepit and grill. Owner and their sweet dog are very friendly. Enjoyable stay, would go again.

What an amazing hotel. A step back in time when vacation meant solace, and relaxation. I slept like I have never. The quaint warm cottages feed your soul. The record player brought so much joy as I listened to the crackle of each playing song. Thank you!

My dad had a tool shed that had more personality than this room. Amenities are less than adequate and interior walls had not been finished out. Mustve been decorated by a third-country refugee.

I don't like booking an accommodation that includes an amenity and after I check in and have paid then find out my room does not include the amenity. In my opinion this is false advertising and when I question the manager and given an excuse why it wasn't included it's not only false advertising but I've been lied to and cheated. Not happy with this.

The front desk staff (owner?) was very welcoming and friendly. She took the time to show me around the place. I loved the view from our deck. Outdoor pool with fun swan/flamingo floaties. Cool outdoor sauna, I didn't get a chance to use it. Nice distance to the beach in Lincolinville. Beach not accessible from the motel. Enjoyed that it was dog friendly.

Fun and quirky roadside motel. Super close to state park for hiking and Camden for dining. Alex, the owner, has worked hard to offer her guests an enjoyable and relaxing retreat. Probably beat for short term stays.

This is our second summer visiting the Lincolnville. In our opinion it is the perfect blend of comfort, cozy, style and beautiful surroundings. Facing the ocean, the cabins have perfect decks that we can sit out on with a beer while playing records in the room. There is an exceptionally awesome sauna now with a large bubble window facing the sea - I highly recommend! We love how unpretentious and perfect this non-fussy spot is. It is all the bonuses of being hipster without actually being hipster. Books and records are stacked in each room.in lieu of TV's. The pool is beautiful to just sit out by and enjoy. We have loved the service and care here year after year.

As expected the cabin was small but had everything we needed. We were provided with fairly powerful fan to keep the air moving on very hot days, and of course one doesn't expect air conditioning in a cabin.

Delightful. Tiny, clean and well appointed. Alice, the owner is cheerful and helpful. Close to town but out of the hubbub. Would come back if in the area.

Loved our stay here. Super cozy cottage and amazing staff. We stayed here two nights and couldn’t have been happier. Hope to return soon.

The location was great, on the one hand, being so close to the ocean. On the other hand, it was too close to Highway 1 and was noisy.

A very clean and comfortable cabin with a heater efficient enough to warm for the 38 degree night we experienced.
Alice, the owner, is wonderful. She helped make our stay very enjoyable. And she knew the area and the restaurants.

My daughter and I were in the area to check out wedding "necessities" for a Point Lookout wedding. We really did enjoy the cottage and staff. Nothing fancy. No TV and no phone in room. We had a great time listening to the many record albums that are available for the old-fashion turn table. We also played a couple of board games. If you want to get away from life's craziness and technology, you will enjoy Lincolnville motel. I would return with my husband. The view from the porch was great (and peaceful). For a great and private porch, stay in the "Honeymoon" cottage.
