The entire check in process was phenomenal. We had a warm welcome, we were able to check in early, the room is amazing and service has been spotless. The best way to describe our experience is “Oh là là”

This hotel was simply amazing. The location is perfect – near the Louvre, but around the corner so it’s quiet. Fine dining. Boutique hotel. The concierge service was simply amazing – the best I’ve ever experienced in my 50 years of life.
Needless to say, don’t take taxis in Paris. Only use Uber. We had a horrible experience with an unethical cab ride that ruined my wife’s birthday plans. Concierge had already gone above and beyond to help me make arrangements for our trip, and they stepped in and salvaged the night to make a truly memorable experience. I cannot give a higher recommendation. We will be back

This may have been the best hotel I have ever stayed at in Europe or North America. The staff were amazing, the rooms incredibly luxurious, and the location unbeatable. The fact that the location is in the very heart of the 1er arrondissement and you can experience the quiet serenity of the Place de Valois at any time of day or night truly made this hotel a sanctuary in the middle of Paris.

This is a small hotel with a big name in a great location. Walk across the rue de Valois and enter the gardens of the Palais Royale. It doesn't get better than this. The concierge team is excellent. Breakfast is fine. Room (junior suite with a tiny terrace) was pretty small but well designed. A couple of nagging maintenance issues (broken roman shades) kept it from being perfect.

It was not so good. Room was ok however I booked a balcony room and it was so small it only fit the chair. It was impossible for two people to sit there together. No space. Cleanliness was ok however the cleaners kept moving my things. They actually moved my toothbrush from a glass on the vanity to a shelf under the sink. Totally unacceptable. Bar was really bad too. Our cocktails were quite bad. Wine was good. Dinner menu is average. It is more like a cafe lunch menu with detox and healthy shots of ginger. Poke type meals. Not what you would expect for dinner. Location is excellent. Breakfast is quite good. Worst thing was the toilet. Did not flush properly and kept backing up. Disgusting.

We were so happy with our choice to stay at the Grand Hotel du Palais Royal for our first visit to Paris. We were two blocks from the Louvre, two blocks from the Metro station and a block from the Palais Royal's gardens. We had a balcony from which we could see the Louvre and the top of the Eiffel Tower in the distance. The hotel employees were so nice and helpful. And the breakfast was really good. Our hotel room wasn't huge, but it was a comfortable size with a small but nicely updated bathroom. We felt like we were in a very central location for exploring the city of Paris and could easily take the Metro for farther distances. There were several restaurants and cafes within walking distance. We couldn't have been happier with our choice!

Everytime I go to Paris I love staying here. The hotel is in the center of the city and there are many places to eat and shop. The metro is just a few steps away and from the hotel window you can look through the windows of the louvre and see art and statues. The hotel is small, quiet, clean and has a wonderful morning breakfast. The staff are extremely helpful and will meet any request you may have. This time I stayed here I really enjoyed how they used a QR code to text your requests for an extra towel, room service, ect. They would quickly respond to meet our needs. This hotel is one of the reasons I keep coming back to Paris.

You will enjoy your time inside and outside this hotel as you are in the heart of Paris. Facilty and staff were geared to making your stay memorable. Walking distance to many remarkable sites including luxury shopping. Staff is very friendly and always willing to help.

The location and the rooms are lovely; The staff at Grand Hotel du Palais Royal is exceptional! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with champagne and personally introduced to each member of the team. Before, during, and after my stay, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my requests to help upgrade room base on my request. Every time I visited the lobby, I was personally greeted by those on duty, which made me feel so welcomed.

Very beautiful hotel with very kind staff at the reception ad concierge and restaurant. However, at the room some days they did not provide water, cup for the coffee, pads for make up removing.

Do not stay here. I had a medical emergency and had to cancel. They would not even let me move the dates! They took all my money and wouldn’t budge! So rude! Don’t stay in a hotel with these people. Too many other beautiful hotels in parts

This lovely hotel is one of the reasons we enjoyed our Paris trip so much! The pictures do not justify how special this place is. Staff are truly professional, helpful. It is not only close to all attractions, but also tucked in a very quiet, beautiful block that is next to the Royal Palais Garden. We travel extensively and are impressed overall! The hotel, staff deserve 5 stars!

Great hotel. They let us check in earlier since our flight landed in the morning. The concierge, Alexander gave us great recommendations and was amazing. Other concierge was ok, he forgot to make our reservation and call us. Everyone spoke English and it was a very comfortable and friendly place. Highly recommend.

Hotel was amazing within a couple of blocks from the Louvre. I did not receive an upgrade as expected. However, they made my stay memorable with a special gift and letter to my wife for her birthday. Concierge also went above and beyond and gave us the best recommendations to enjoy the city. I will definitely consider this hotel if I am lucky and come back to the city of lights.

Fantastic location in Paris, in the city center and in one of the nicest Parisian location (Palais Royale).
The room looked nice / modern and the staff was gentle /
professional.
The common areas (especially lobby and stairs / corridors) were dated thought.
I do not understand was they have covered the windows of the stairs with non transparent film. The view and light would be so much nicer if they hadn't.

We have stayed at this hotel before and liked it in the past. However, the most recent experience was significantly below expectations. This facility is not friendly for children at all, and they did not have basic amenities like kids chair or a safe crib.

A true gem in the heart of Paris. We were to enjoy so much of the City steps from the front entrance. Highly recommend.
