Wonderful well crafted room, very comfy and reception was very stay there, out of the way but worth it, Uber makes it pleasantly quiet and affordable

We had expected parking, but there is no parking available on site. Otherwise a great stay.

Amazing location right along the beach. Unobstructed Sunset views, great resto in the hotel, friendly staff, easily accessible. I was in a small room (travelling solo) with a balcony facing the ocean, and it was perfect for 1 person. Renovated bathroom, hot water, comfortable mattress. Overall a great option and super affordable. Other reviewers noted the smell of seafood in the hallways… The resto below specializes in fish, since they’re located BY THE OCEAN IN A SURFERS TOWN!!! These are stupid and useless negative comments. If you hate the smell of seafood, then don’t go to Portugal… that smell is everywhere you go!

Great location, in the middle of the businesses and across the road from the beach. Restaurant and bar downstairs were great, you could smell the seafood in the hallways of the hotel but not in your room. The room was small but completely manageable since we didn’t spend much time in it. Beds weren’t very comfortable, probably just need to be replaced. As a whole, it was a good choice. No parking at the hotel, street parking was very hard. Parking garage around the corner 15€ a night was good. Pro-tip, when you check in walk through the restaurant and turn left at the bar for the front desk. Definitely recommend for the price!

Very spacious, shopping and restaurants just next door, funicular to the attractive just less than 15 mins walk ，bed comfortable, clean linen and room， excellent breakfast ，nice staff,not a quiet area of course since shopping and restaurant but no problem just close the balcony door and AC on, overall a very pleasant stay

I rank the stay 5 star but some important details. I was traveling alone, and I booked a double room. As others have said, it was small but it was fine - and I had a large suitcase - no problem. If I was traveling with my wife, I think it would’ve been tight, including the bed, but it’s Europe. The #1 reason I picked it and rate it 5 star is I made sure I had one of the balcony rooms. I was on the first (aka second) floor just above the restaurant. A few pointers - the hotel hallways do smell of the restaurant, but not the rooms (or at least not mine). I had 103, and I spent a ton of time on the balcony. IF I didn’t have that though, there are plenty of options to stay ‘near the action’ that probably would’ve been superior - so 100% this 5 stars is for the balcony - right over the bustle, watching people play football on the beach is epic. I worked out there one day. I stayed 3 nights - the first couple the WiFi really sucked (I had to tether off my phone) and then suddenly day 3 it was good to go. Also, it is loud (poor sound insulation). Being right above the restaurant I could hear them moving all of the chairs around - but I travel with a white noise machine and it never woke me up, but when I turned the machine off in the morning, woah, you could hear it. I def stay again but balcony mandatory. If we my wife, maybe 2 nights max just bc of the space issue. Oh, and I didn’t have a car so look to others re that

Gorgeous location, right on the beach and middle of beach strip

Room was small and dark. It has a rooming house feel but the location, the food and the area are outstanding.
