What a lovely classy hotel with old world charm. I feel I have traveled back in time to an by gone era of grandeur and elegance. The staff is courteous and welcoming. The rooms may not be up to the modern day comfort standard but everything is functional for a relaxing vacation. The garden grounds and the building architecture are the gems of this resort. I love wandering through the beautiful marble and wood corridors and porticos and the extensive lush gardens. My favourite places are the quiet library and the charming railway museum which serves as a lovely parlor to enjoy an afternoon tea. There are many quiet places in the hotel ground with comfortable chairs to read and relax after a day at the beach or pool. The beach directly in front of the hotel is clean and suitable for swimming. You can walk along the fine sand beach up and down for miles. The location is very convenient as one can walk to the vibrant night market or the train station within 10 minutes. The restaurants on site are food with reasonable prices (about the same prices as trendy restaurants in Bangkok locals go to). We had to change our pre booked car back to Bangkok and the hotel staff was very kind and assisted us finding another car last minute. I enjoyed our stay here very much. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone who would like to experience classic Thai hospitality and something much more than the cookie cutter hotel experience.

Simply amazing across the board. The food and drinks were a bit pricy but the hotel experience was a crystal clear 5 star.

The staff was great. Food was great. Everyone was kind and helpful. Enjoyed the property a lot as well as the rooms. I was upgraded to a suite above the lobby. Took advantage of a spa deal and had a great massage. Thank you!

Bedbugs, got bit a lot during the night, housekeeping changed linen but they are in the matress of Room 287.

Eveything was excellent. The hotel and our room looked awesome. It was a perfect vacation for our family. We will definitely go back there again.

Like others say about Centara Grand in Hua Hin, this property is absolutely beautiful. It is incredibly large, the staff is wonderful and kind, and the room is so comfortable. We had a room that overlooked the ocean of course, and the sunrise and sound of the ocean…well….amazing. We will certainly stay here again.

It was quite ok. A little worn down all over, but i heard they will start renovations in 2025.

Fabulous staff and grounds

We stayed a total of 5 nights at Centara, and it was the highlight of our trip. Incredibly good service, beautiful surroundings, and good food. Highly recommended.

Centara Hua Hin is the most beautiful restored colonial hotel, you really get a feel of yester year Our ocean view room was literaly next to the beach, spent lots of time on spacious balcony enjoying the view and peacefulness. The old world furniture is fantastic, breakfast was 10/10, singers and musicians in the Elephant bar wonderful, staff in this bar excellent. Hotel on beach and close to centre of town so great location Overall definite 5 star experience would definitely recommend 😊

Centara is a cozy hotel with a colonial style. The hotel is old but still beautiful. The service is excellent and makes up for it. We had some drainage issues that they resolved quickly. They are quick to address problems and incredibly child-friendly. Our daughter loves the kids’ club here. Breakfast is great and the service is excellent. We only encountered one staff member who swung the door in our face at breakfast and forgot to show us to a table, but considering all the other positive experiences, we hope this was a one-time incident on their part. We initially booked 3 nights and extended for an additional 2. Highly recommended. An extra bonus is the piano in the reception in the mornings and the small snacks in the room everyday.

Property is iconic, given its age, the hotel is in excellent condition. Only downside is will need a car or tuk tuk to travel in and out of the property as it’s a distance away from the Main Street

We decided to drive from Bangkok to Hua Hin to spend the weekend at this nice colonial beach resort; beautiful garden, excellent service and very relaxing massage. Exquisite food at the poolbar.

Always enjoy my stay at Hua Hin Centara Grand. This time I want to give 5 stars to Nim at the Elephant Bar. She was very kind and is given so much of the cleaning duties she still has the demeanor to be pleasant. I would also like to highlight Folk breakfast attendant. Above and to satifisfy my coffee desires. Unfortunately, the quality of coff÷ is poor. Inspite of this, he attempted to bring out choices. He was attentive to my tea needs on subsequent days. The bed matteress was not very comfortable. My two stays have been excellent otherwise. Excellent food choices, clean beyond compare.

Great hotel, fabulous breakfast, great location would book again

Inconsistant, could be amazing, could be be poor. I would rather a consistent middle for example, they gfaev me a dumo of a room then after much compl;aing gacve me an amazing suite but simply a nice room from the start would have been fine. Likewise breakfast staff, one day all over you with great service the next couln't be bothered. A great property - maybve too big though?

Beautiful hotel with well kept grounds. This was our second trip but tbh the our stay last year was much better. The staff at check in was much more attentive and welcoming and the sea food buffet had better options. All in all we would come back but likely dine outside the hotel vs eating in.

The Centara Grand Beach Resort is a wonderfully beautiful, peaceful and relaxing environment, with a lovely historic feel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and very helpful - a truly enjoyable and first class stay for 12 days in April.

This resort is old, very old! Rooms are from the 1920’s pool and lounge chairs in disrepair! Service is far below normal Thai service. Food was ok, got sick on a desert salad! Breakfast was ok. I would stay at a modern hotel next time! air conditioners where old and did not have air filters. No elevators lots of stairs!

Excellent and beatiful resort located by the sea. The room was spacious and well equiped. The breakfast and dinner were outstanding. Free parking, close to the center of Hua Hin. The hotel gardens and suroundings are amazing.

If have Poop Scrubber will be excellent

Likes - short walk to everything Hua hin - the vibe hussle bustle etc , and once in the grounds of Centara absolute quiet and space - grounds were in exceptional condition! we love it there - cant find a negative
