Slightly inconvenient to register a block away but at least it wasn’t raining. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Minor issues with the room but we pointed those out to the front desk—nothing that couldn’t wait. Super convenient to beach, shops and terrific places to eat. Can’t beat the crab bake feast at Wayfarer’s night before we checked out. Totally worth it. We’d stay again.

The cute, cozy studio cottage with a kitchenette and fireplace was perfect as a solo traveler but would work for a couple as well. Very comfortable bed and 2 minute walk to the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location for this property. We were able to walk to the beach and see the Big Sur rock in about a 15 min walk along the beach. Had dinner at the little yellow house alongside property and it was excellent. Our only disappointment was the stairs we had to climb with our heavy bags (we were on a 2 month trip). The room was clean and spacious but we were worried as the walk up the stairs did not impress! We worried about what I had gotten us into. In the end, we spent little time on/in property and all was good.

I was afraid to use the ice machine. It really needed cleaning.

Quaint New England style cottages. Classic queen was comfortable enough and included of fireplace. The building is over 100 years old and so the bathroom does not have the space and accommodations you expect of modern day but they did a good job updating it. No microwave or room for a small refrigerator.

When I got in the room I thought it's old. After some minutes, I changed my mind. It's cozy, clean, and comfort place.

We loved our stay! It’s the perfect location, so close to Haystack Rock and still walking distance to the main downtown area.

Small and quaint hotel, friendly and attentive staff. The rooms are comfortable and shower, while a little small, had wonderful water pressure and plenty of hot water. Short walk to the main part of town and a lot of dining options right next to the hotel. There is a restaurant/bar in the hotel that is nice, and the coffee shop next door has great coffee and morning pastries. We've been here twice and I'd come back again.

Loved the hotel. Great rooms, great Decor and amazing location.

1. Check-In Process: We arrived early, understanding that the official check-in time was 4:00 PM. We were informed that the room was being cleaned and that we would receive a text message once it was ready. Unfortunately, I never received this notification, leading to unnecessary waiting. When it was finally my turn to check in, the front desk staff member, who was busy with other tasks and conversations, did not acknowledge me. This led to a further delay , even though the check-in process itself took only about three minutes. 2. Room Condition: The room we were assigned was in a different location than what was shown in the booking pictures. The room was old, poorly maintained, and not up to the standard I expected. The most troubling issue was the malfunctioning toilet, which got clogged shortly after we arrived. 3. Customer Service: I would like to acknowledge the exceptional service provided by one of the staff members, Maya. She went out of her way to assist us in moving to a room that matched what we had booked, which we greatly appreciated. Her professionalism stood out amidst the other issues we encountered. 4. Parking Lot Incident: After checking out, we discovered that our car, which had been parked in the hotel's parking lot, had been hit. When we requested access to surveillance footage, the video provided was blurry and did not offer any helpful information. This incident was a disappointing end to an already troubling stay.

We stayed in the McBee property and loved it. The location was right next to the beach, the room was clean and cozy, and it’s very walkable to all the shops and restaurants in the area. There was some left over hair from previous guests in the bathroom, and almost every single towel or wash cloth had stains on them but they all smelled clean. Overall a great trip, we enjoyed it and will be back in the future if we can book for a similar price!

Nice location and very convenient parking. Room was nice and well appointed but was very hot with no A/C. The fan was a nice touch but it was uncomfortable at night to sleep so warm even with the window open. Otherwise it was a great experience.

They do not clean while you are in the room but overall clean and in a good location

Hotel was historic. Management was very poor. Hotel had dirty towels- worn with stains and holes. There was no housekeeping service. Room so small there was no closet or chair (s). Hotel very expensive. I would give it a 3 rating.

Carpet was pretty dirty, main window curtain was stained, window shades turned down but not up, no blanket for the hide a bed, sofa stained, fresh grouting needed around toilet base, cutlery was minimal at best, ie, two cereal spoons for three people. The receptionist was exceedingly helpful and very hospitable. When we were late arriving, the access to our room was clearly stated in a text message and we were able to park and find our room very easily. Our small patio area was well kept up with garden area and cement patio.

Staff was so friendly. Property was very clean. Flowers were in bloom everywhere at the Courtyard. The jacuzzi was great. Tv didn’t work and they weren’t able to resolve it during our stay. We were not prepared with other entertainment for the late evening hours.

It is a beautiful property and very well appointed. The price is high for being a motel, a cute motel.

The location is awesome. The queen bed in the bedroom is fantastic and the staff is amazing. It's a cute unit and very close to the beach, which is great. There were a couple issues. We took off our shoes when we walked in, and within minutes our feet were black, so apparently the floors have been swept but not washed. We did request housekeeping and they came and washed the floors and then left us with a mop and cleaning product. The other item that was pretty disappointing was the pull out sofa sleeper. The unit sleeps 4 with that being said, the pull out sofa is atrocious. Every time you even think to move it squeaks and you can feel the springs in the mattress. Second night ended up putting it on the floor and it was a much better night of sleep. The bathroom blind had rust on it and discoloration, Two light bulbs were out- one in the bathroom and one above the bistro table. No wash cloth for doing the dishes but they did provide dawn and a towel to dry dishes.

Loved this “collection” of hotels. Managed by this company each property can be different but they all seem well chosen. We had a McBee cottage which was perfect. Quiet and convenient with a location making all thing walkable. Highly recommended!

Great Location- clean and comfortable

Bathrooms were not cleaned properly. Room too tiny and sheets still had dirt marks from previous occupants. Sink had cracks and needs fixing. Room just too tiny and cannot do anything more than sleep in.

I loved the property and my room had a lot of charm. It had a fireplace & private bathtub room, separate from the shower room. It was comfortable and spacious and the bed & linens were soft & luxurious. I will definitely come back to the Cannon Beach Hotel !
