It was amazing. Behind the gates and I never wanted to leave. The golf course was phenomenal and the resort was just as fantastic. Already booked my wife's birthday trip for next year here!

Donald who was my first point of contact was NOT welcoming at all, his customer service is the worse. Arrived Monday didn’t receive WiFi until Saturday this was after spending a total of at least 3 hours on the phone with Cox over 3-days. The Donald refused to contact them. The room was awful the bed was worn and sunken in the door let’s everyone know your status in the room the curtains do not close this place is sooo outdated and worn a 1’ crack under the door for all types of crawly creatures this place is the worse along with its customer service

Customer service was great! The room appeared clean upon entering however, there was an empty water bottle under the seat in the room by the bathroom, and the comforter had dried blood on it that we didn’t notice until we were stripping the bed to leave. My husband and I both checked everywhere and the blood was not from either of us. The bed was very comfortable, the grounds of the hotel were kept clean, and it was a cozy cute place! Overall, good stay! Just found things that could have been better!

We have stayed here many times. Its a good location for our needs. Its clean. The pool area is nice however, the sectional sofa is disgustingly dirty. We layed towels over it just to sit on it. The restaurant is good. We really enjoy having our meals on the outdoor patio overlooking the golf course. The entire staff at the resort are very friendly. The bedding is comfortable but the rooms are very outdated. The walls are dark and the furniture clean but worn. There is no convenient bedside place to plug your phone in. The in room refrigerator is great to have.

Arrived @ 9:00 pm and the lobby was locked. Had to call security so we could check in. No food options after 7:00 pm. Room wasn't comfortable, a/c unit was laud, there were small spiders in the room and you could hear the water running very laudly when the showers were being used in the other rooms.

Our stay was nice and the hotel was quiet. We just needed a place to sleep for the night but there were lots of restaurants accessible by car and it has a golf course. We got to watch the sun come up from our balcony.

The concrete walled room held mousture and with AC running my clothes felt wet along with bedding. The bed was very hard, i usually like firm bed but was like a board.

Front desk is never attended. Acs barely work. Terrible directions as to where to go when you arrive in the parking lot. Water pressure is not good. Beds are lopsided mattresses. TVs are tiny and have terrible channels. Floor is super loud with just walking. Old and worn. Nothing like photos.

It was hot but pool was closed for the one day that we could have used it. Price of high 200's to 300 per night is too much for this place.

Customer Service. The pool was closed due to maintenance. The manager contacted us when the pool was ready and permitted us to use it. Thank you...we appreciated the personal touch you provided.

I got checked in by someone that didn’t know what they were doing so we got charged 4 times for a deposit coming out to almost $1000 just for $160 hotel room the night I stayed at. I did get some of the money back because it was a deposi but for some reason they kept 22 dollars. For what? I don’t know everything should had being return back to my bank account if it was only a deposit. Making someone wait a whole week for almost $1000 in deposits for a cheap $160 dollar hotel room is not right!

This is an older property, but I found it very clean and well cared for. They clean the room daily which I love. Very spacious too.
Water pipes were loud and the bathroom door was hard to close. Being a golf course there is very early morning noise.
Overall I would recommend this lodge

Check in was easy. I called beforehand to ask if we could check in early due to an event we were going to and did not want to leave our luggage in our car. The nice gentleman at the front desk checked the status of rooms and let us check in early. The room was clean and had no issues.

$222.00 incidental deposit was outrageous! This location reminded me of the barracks in the Corps back in 2006. The wood furniture all had damage, walls were concrete, tv barely worked, hot tub and pool closed, and just overall did not feel like a modern or even up to date club house for a gold course. Pictures were deceiving on hotels.com

Tyler was very helpful. He put my mother and me in a handicapped room without our having to ask for it. He also changed the registration so I could sign for the room. He was friendly.

It was a pleasant surprise around the corner. I am picky about my linens and the comforter was great. I was pleasantly surprised. I loved the bathroom update. Perfect for an in town overnight.

This is not our first time using this hotel, and we would not stay anywhere else. It is quiet, with quaint rooms. The staff are wonderful. Housekeepers are amazing, and do a great job. The grounds are lovely, sunrises are breathtaking. Will stay here any time we are in town.

Slow service in cafe, but food was good. Office not open till 11 am. Staff was very friendly. Grounds are well kept. Quiet. Overall very nice stay. A little expensive.

At first glance, I was a bit hesitant to book a room here since it was located in a small golf resort (we are not golfers). However, when we arrived, we found a super clean and comfortable room. Our room was located in the bungalow-style units (not the 2-story lodge) that are located at the edge of the parking lot, away from the main resort complex. Our unit was peaceful with a nice grassy area outside.
Comfy bed, warm shower and basic amenities. It’s not a fancy place and it’s a bit dated, but a very pleasant place to stay. We would definitely stay at the Carlton Oaks again.

Check in was painless, was even able to get our room earlier. Nice. Its an older property but kept up.
Was expecting breakfast but only served on the weekends. Not sure if that applies to lunch or dinner as we did not stay for those.
It was close proximity to the concert we attended thst was a plus.
Our one night was peaceful and would think about returning if in the area....
