The refrigerator in our room did not work and unfortunately I did not notice until the next morning when our food had spoiled. Incredibly disappointed because I had to buy new food and rush to do so.
The food in the breakfast area was not refilled quickly, or at all, I didn't go back to check. It took a while to get the forks restocked too.

Have stayed here many times. It is a very good hotel. Have always found it clean and nice. There were two troupes of children and their parents which ran up and down the floors screaming, yelling and slamming doors until past midnight. I contacted the desk twice but it seemed to have little impact.
The hotel's management was TOTALLY IRRESPONSIBLE in handling this situation.

The elevator went out during my stay, and due to my recent foot surgery, this impacted my itinerary. I had to be mindful of leaving because it was difficult to go up and down the stairs.

Hotel was very good, rooms were large and clean. It was in a convenient location and easy to get in and out of. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast was varied, but they kept running out of items and it was often an over 20 minute wait for replenishing.

Our family is new to DeKalb Il. The drive to visit is about 51/2 hours one way. We are almost 70 and doing it in one day is a little to much. We decided to hotel hop until we find the perfect one near their new home. Our grandkids are growing fast and we need to visit often. Out of the hotels visited so far the Hampton Inn is at the top of the list. Enjoyed everything about it.

We stayed 1 night here. Rooms are nice, staff was friendly and the poor lady who was in charge of the continental breakfast; did awesome keeping up with the demand for eggs, biscuits, sausage and hash browns!

Our room was clean & it appeared to be newly renovated. The staff was very helpful & courteous. Loved the shower. The room was spacious. The only problem was at breakfast the hot food was empty. We were in a hurry to go but we did wait for some time & no one filled up the food area. It was about 9 AM. Plenty of time before they closed.

Our room was clean and spacious, providing a comfortable stay. The entire hotel, both inside and out, including the amenities, was well-maintained and spotless. The breakfast was outstanding, with the chef doing an excellent job of serving all the guests while maintaining high-quality standards.

Was in a tight spot trying to find somewhere to stay, gave them a call and the young man on the phone was absolutely amazing! If I’m ever back in the area there is not a doubt in my mind that this will be the place I stay. Rooms were clean, staff were welcoming and friendly, checkin was easy and quick. My service dog was treated wonderfully. There are not enough good things I could say about this location and the staff. 10/10 loved my stay and felt so safe staying here at this location!

My husband and I stayed here while visiting our daughter in the area. The room was very clean and everything was updated and nice. The bed was comfortable, the hotel was quiet and peaceful; everything was well lit and very safe. We didn’t eat the breakfast, but did do a walk through of it and it looked and smelled delicious and other visitors seemed to be enjoying it. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We’ll definitely be staying again when we visit in the future!

Check-in was at 3pm we showed up at 5pm and had to wait two hours for the room to be ready. The pool was closed and when we tried to ask a staff member when it might be opened up she tried to pretend not to speak English even though she said in clear English "I don't speak English." She didn't even have an accent!
