Beautiful building warm friendly staff and excellent dining. Rooms gorg but hope they will he a bit bigger after the remodel. Would love to return.

Superbly maintained property. The resturant is incomparable. Try the scaiiops. I would definitely recommend this hotel without any reservation. They definitely saved our vacation after Wawona.

We loved our stay here. The location is great, the staff was awesome, and a special thank you to Joel, who made us feel very welcome. The hotel is clean, quiet, beds are comfortable and the restaurant is excellent.

So overpriced for what it was. Housekeeping left ALL the lights on everyday and there was no option to keep towels. The opposite of ecotravel....especially for California.

Beautiful hotel, great location, excellent service. We arrived 4 hours earlier than check in but our room was ready which was nice. The only thing is the bed and pillows were not very comfortable in my opinion.

I love this hotel. It's very unique and not a cookie cutter hotel like many others. The lobby is beautiful with the staircase that goes up to the second floor. There are many wine tasting establishments along with restaurants within walking distance. It was a great place to stay while we were exploring Sonoma and its surroundings.

There are no closets to hang clothes only a hook with a couple of hangars. If you are staying for multiple days, there is not a lot of space in the rooms to hang clothing items, shirts, dresses and jackets. Electrical outlets do no accommodate a modern traveler with phones, ipads, watches despite the room having a dedicated cube with several outlets to plug tech items into. Our room lost all power and we were told we had too many items plugged in at the same time.

No Carpet on floor and no pet policy that was great for my allergy. Window opened to balcony for fresh air, even though was not that quiet. Very friendly staff and clean.

Great stay! The room was very clean and confortable. The hotel is in a great location close to lots of restaurant and lots of stores. The hotel pool was nice and warm and bikes are free to borrow to get to the close-by wineries. Would return anytime!

Super friendly and accommodating, a great boutique hotel in the heart of Sonoma with a small pool. Great restaurant (El Dorado Kitchen), pretty building, rooms a little small but location made up for it. We nearly stayed in Napa, so glad we chose this hotel in Sonoma, a much nicer town in our opinion.

A lovely hotel with very fine rooms, comfortable beds, a good restaurant with good food and great wines. They have a small pool area which is lovely to spend time at. The location is fabulous, right in the middle of Sonoma, off the square, close to all restaurants and shops.

The hotel was great and the location is fantastic being right on the plaza but the real gem for us was the restaurant which was .. amazing. It was the best meal of our trip all over California - we wish we had a restaurant like this down in LA.

Simply a great hotel in a GREAT location. Since they are on the main square in Sonoma it's an easy place to walk to dining or drinks and not have to worry about driving or taking an uber. The restaurant is exceptional as well and they did a great job at breakfast as well. Friendly service! We will stay there again if ever back in Sonoma!

We had a nice room with a walk-in shower. The only negative was that there were no chairs in the room. The food was excellent and the restaurant staff was terrific.

Beautiful hotel and by far the best of the 5 hotels we stayed in during our 2-week USA trip. Great location right on the square. Excellent staff. Decor was gorgeous, bed really comfy, plenty of storage in our spacious room and lovely to have a small balcony. The heated pool was a delight for an early morning swim to get the day going. The El Dorado Kitchen was recommended to us by a few people and rightly so - great food, drinks and service. Low corkage fee compared to others in town. Only 2 frustrations: not much hanging space for clothes and no kettle (this is a common issue in the US though) meaning we had to ask reception for hot water every evening. Overall would definitely recommend!

This was probably the WORST experience I’ve ever had traveling and especially in wine country. As we arrived to Sonoma there was an event going on in the square, literally no parking within 3 blocks and we had a lot of luggage. If you have a hotel, you should have enough designated parking, period. As we checked in the lady was rude and standoffish-fine, we shook it off. The rooms faced the street-it sounded like Grand Central Station, ALL night. After no sleep we call down to see when the restaurant opens, told 8; due to kitchen issues it didn’t open until 8:30. Once again, we brush it off, we’re in wine country! I ordered a waffle with butter and syrup, simple right? Nope, not here. They bring out a plain waffle, cold, with enough syrup for two bites. I ask for butter, again, and the waitress that brought the food said, “We’re out of butter, I guess I’ll go make some.” Are you kidding me? She could not have been more rude. When she brought some out finally, it was a frozen block, literally, that even the prongs of my fork couldn’t scrape free. A frozen Eggo waffle straight from the freezer would’ve been better and I was still charged $13 for that crap. We were the only people there eating so there was no excuse for this behavior. I will never return nor recommend to anyone, terrible experience all around.
