Due to extremely high winds the power went out all over Borrego Springs our second night staying in the Jupe (a tent structure). It was no fault of the hotel and we were informed this could happen. It did add an element of excitement due to pitch black and lots of coyotes nearby! Glad we brought a small lantern with us.

Shower did not have hot water, just warm. Door hard to open and close could hear the click, but door would not open tried several times. Room was quite large, however, bed was not comfortable very hard, brought my own pillow. Pool area very nice with a jacuzzi, water temp perfect in both pool and jacuzzi. Rooms could use some attention as my friend had issues with her door being hard to open. Good Wi-Fi reception great parking area, hotel rooms and an RV park available.

Room was nice - the air conditioning was a little loud but it worked great

We arrived at 1:30pm and were told that check-in wasn't until 3pm, which we understood. I explained we needed to be somewhere and wasn't sure what time we would return and asked if we could have the room key. Again, we were told we couldn't have the key. I asked if they were really that busy (only 5 cars on the lot) and Marilyn became irritated and said they had a full hotel for one month up until that morning, so the rooms were not ready. We left and I explained that were didn't know what time we would be checking in. We were about 1 hour away when I received a call at 5:50pm to inform they were closing at 6pm. They left our room key in a lockbox. Travelocity info states the check-in is until 8pm. We got to our room and there was hardly any toilet paper. We were only able to communicate with the front desk through text and we received an automatic response that they were closed. We received a text at 9:25am the next day saying that if "there wasn't an extra roll there already" they would have it delivered to our room shortly. At that point in time, we were already at Ocotillo Wells. We arrived back at 11:30am, had to call the front desk, tell them we still didn't have toilet paper. Ivy, explained she had texted earlier and thought we had left the hotel then asked if we still needed the toilet paper. Gah! The room hadn't been cleaned, which I'm guessing, we had to request ahead of time, but were never informed to do so.

We will be back! In room hot tub is a bonus😁

Fun stay in an airstream. Property looks like an old west town, so cute! Pool was perfect. Easy access to very nice State Park visitor center. Easy access to downtown area. Next time I want to try one of the rooms with a balcony to set up my telescope.

Traveled with grandkids. They enjoyed the old west theme.

the style of the hotel, everything is super clean and the people at the reception are very friendly

I enjoyed the theme of the hotel and having a nice clean place to stay.

The hotel and room were clean, the woman at the check in was quite nice. We had a premium double queen room, the beds were sagging in the middle and lumpy on the sides, the microwave did not work and the deck, walkway and stairs in need of replacement due to splintering wood.

Nice place to stay while enjoying the wildflowers.

The vintage trailer was very nice. The pool and surrounding grounds were well kept and clean.

I booked a stay with my daughter for my birthday. We loved the pool and hot tub and the kitschy environment with murals and Western facades. I'd definitely book again.

Great place to stay either in the motel or campground in your RV. We really enjoyed the jazz duo in the lounge the night we were there. We will be back!

It’s a cute but spread out property, the rooms are big but old, not well decorated, the pools were nice but small, there were alot of RVers using the facilities, making it a bit of a us vs them feeling.

Great location to explore the amenities of Anza-Borrego State park. Liked the connectablity with our friends who booked an RV site.

This was such a cute spot. We only stayed one night but we definitely will need to be back for a longer stay. They accommodated my pillow request.

I stayed in both the Airstream and the actual hotel. The hotel room was very spacious and clean and comfortable. A much needed haven from the Boreggo Springs heat. This old western style exterior gave way to a contemporary interior.
The airstream was true to form with the pictures. The negatives: The plumbing issue with the toilet released a very unpleasant smell that lingered. It made sleeping challenging. To the hotel staff's credit, during check in, I was told the water pressure for the toilet and shower wasn't that great and to use the bathhouse facilities for those to needs. Other that, the airstream is a good one night stay.
But if you can, get a room here. That's a better option.

Although the room is a good size compared to other hotels, I hate being forced to pay a resort fee which gets me absolutely nothing. Breakfast isn't included, either. Beautiful property, but a pretty steep price for a night of sleep.

The resort has a great view of the mountains, is a quiet property (no loud parties) and the restaurant staff were really helpful. Pool was nice and the room had a great coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave. We would stay here again.

Resort fee charge is a ripoff.

The property is pretty awesome but needs some serious TLC. There was several items item needed repair in the two rooms that I reserved. Also, the hotel wifi is free (yea) but barely works (sad face) so do not plan on connecting to the important work meeting when you are here. The staff are really nice and location is awesome.

Great location in proximity to the state park. I rented an older Airstream. Good amenities: kitchen supplies, newer grill, fire pit. I sharpened your dull knives (you’re welcome). No shower curtain or door. Toilet backs up. Bathroom door hard to close. The trailer still has an 8-track, so you kind of have to put up with these inconveniences due to its age (don’t forget your 8-track tapes!). Overall, a pleasant stay.

Absolutely wonderful. Like an old western town.

No window glass in windows
Bathroom taps dont work
Toilet sprays over feet when flushed
Horrible internet- I gave up trying to get online

First, property location was excellent, close to state park and town. Property style offered a unique setting. It was nice to stay in Vintage RV and experience RV life. However, housekeeping and maintenance could use some improvement. The RV we stayed could have been cleaned better, we picked up garlic skins and wiped up greasy cabinets. The property offered shower gel and shampoo but the shower gel was empty. The light in the bathroom was burned out which we did not noticed until evening but quickly replaced when we notified the office. The shower head lose and could not be positioned well making it difficult to shower. Otherwise, we did enjoy our stay and would return. We definitely would recommend the place.

My friend and I stayed in the airstream trailer. It was very cute and quaint. The beds were so comfortable! We would love to come back again soon.

Only problem was the cold water ran hot first thing in the morning, probably because of ground heat.

The room was good sized with a comfortable bed, very clean, and plenty of sinks/mirrors. A hair dryer would have been appreciated. The sink drains were corroded and no soap near the toilet sink. The chairs were not very comfortable. Good hamburgers at the restaurant with a nice outdoor area. The room was over priced for the quality of the room.

This hotel is an oasis in the desert. It's themed and fun and even better in person. Would stay again.

I attempted to call the property multiple times before our stay to ask questions and no one ever answered the phone. The door to our room would not open with the key card unless you leaned on door using your body weight to open it. There was preset AC in the room so it wasn’t possible to set the AC lower than 72 degrees. I ordered breakfast from a QR code in the room when I went to get our breakfast the front desk told me that the restaurant did not open until 11 AM. Our family was going hiking and I told the front desk person that we would eat the food we ordered for lunch no big deal but that we wouldn’t be back at 11 to get. When returning from our hike I was told that the QR code was from an event and that they did not serve any of those items on their menu. I asked for a refund and I still have not received my money back. They also did not offer restaurant credit. The beds were uncomfortable.
