Lovely guesthouse very conveniently located a 5 minute walk from the seafront and only 15 minutes from Zadar old town. The property is very lovely decorated and the bed was so comfortable…and huge! There was complementary car parking which is a nice touch also. Very happy we chose Lavandula for our stay in Zadar!

Modern apartment nearby a beach and a shopping mall. Friendly staff. About 20 min walking (with kids) to the old town. No daily cleaning of the room.

Very close to the bus station. This made traveling from one city to the next easier to arrange. There is a small shared kitchen to use. Few supermarkets are very close. The walk to the old town is a reasonable distance for us but may not be suitable for everyone. We took some random small streets intentionally to walk through the neighborhood to see areas not visited by most of the tourists. We were there in May, the weather was perfect and not too crowded. The hosts responded to messages very quickly. The room is the right size for 2 persons. A place to consider when visiting Zadar.

Antonella was the most amazing host.Weve been travelling for 5 weeks and never had such wonderful service, she went out of her way to accommodate us when we arrived late. She greeted us and carried our luggage, gave us directions to all the great eating places and the sea organs. By the way Antonella, Bob Rocks was the best ice cream we have had all trip.Thanks so much for all the recommendedations and your wonderful hospitality.

Comfortable room and friendly staff! Easy walk to the old town.

I would classify Lavandula more as a guesthouse than a hotel, given that it has only about 10 rooms and limited common area. There is, however, a nice little area to sit outside, and it is just a couple of hundred meters from the beach. It's just under a mile to the old town, which can be reached by walking along the beach (for most of the way), although it is slightly shorter to walk along the street. My room wasn't fancy, but it had a nice modern design and was very clean. I was surprised when I was told Lavandula is about 10 years old, because I thought it was much newer based on the design and condition. I chose Lavandula primarily because it had convenient parking. It's not a luxury property and it's not in the center of the action, but it is walkable and for someone looking for a good, reasonably priced place to stay, this is an excellent choice.

An excellent little hotel. The staff was great in welcoming us there with suggestions to make our stay particularly enjoyable.

Good location, 5 mins walk to the bus station, 15 mins walk into old town. They helped to arrange my boat tour and customer service was good. I stayed in the maisonette and it had all the necessary mod cons. My only feedback to the owners is that the pillow isn't comfortable and the door locks are tricky to put the key in. Nice stay nonetheless.

What a pleasant surprise to find this little hotel. The room was very nice, newly updated, and very comfortable in every way. The staff was amazingly sweet and kind and helpful. You can walk to Old Town and the beach. Free parking. They don't have a kitchen in the room, but have one downstairs everyone can use. If you're looking for a great value in Zadar, I highly recommend Lavandula.
