Business stay, there once a mint

Sadly the noise from the fridge ticking off and on constantly all night did not allow me to sleep . The light on entry did not work . This was not a king room . A double bed with a single bed. We booked this motel as it had a restaurant- sadly on arrival there was a paper sign on the desk advising the restaurant was closed ‘temporarily’.

A lovely Motel In Coonabarabran, the managers are new and are so friendly . The rooms are a great size with a very comfortable pillow top bed. There is a small table and chairs, microwave, toaster , kettle , fresh milk and some delicious biscuits as well in the room. The room has been renovated but the bathrooms have not, although the bathrooms are in need of a renovation the shower is hot with great water pressure. I’d recommend this Motel to travellers.

This is our go-to stay when travelling between Qld and SA. Always comfortable and clean. The shower cubicle is “different” but clean and hot. Reception was quick and easy. Walkable to shops etc. Highly recommended.

Called during said office hours to confirm booking and arrange late check in as I wasn’t arriving until about midnight. Woman on the phone was huffing a bit almost complaining as she’d already shut the computer down etc. then couldn’t find my booking for which I’d already had a confirmation for. The conversation ended with her stating the key would be under the mat if she received confirmation at her end on time, I travelled for several hours wondering if in fact I was going to have accommodation at all.. I feel she could have perhaps called or even just send me a text to put my mind at ease. Room was quite comfortable until the sound of cleaners in the next room woke me at around 8am.

They were totally prepared for 3 people and very helpful. All the info was available. Had room service...food was good and service good.

Property is very close to the town centre making for easy walking.

Comfortable clean friendly had a restaurant with nice food

This is the second time we have stayed. Rooms are newly renovated, except for bathrooms, and extremely comfortable. We asked for quiet rooms, the manager contacted us in advance to say the King rooms we booked were the closest to the road and she would let us change to rooms at the back when we arrived, should we wish to do so. We ended up staying in the rooms we had stayed in in the past, closer to the road. Sunday night was very quiet, monday there was qiet rumbles of the B-Doubles on the highway but nothing that would interfere with sleep. On departure the manager asked whether the noise was an issue. When we said, surprisingly not, she explained that the motels up the road often had complaints became they were located where the 100kmh zone vhanges to 50kmh so the trucks are going faster and braking, so noisier. This motel is in the 50kmh zone so trucks are going slower and are quieter. Makes sense. Bathrooms are original, very retro but very well maintained and fantastic shower pressure. We will definitely stay again on our next trip through Coonabarabran .

Central, great location. Reception staff very pleasant. Motel very good value with an included breakfast package during dining room closure.

Haven’t stayed here for a few years. Definitely be back soon. Sort of renovated, but still very clean and comfortable. Good bed. Good shower. Stacks of room. Unusual set up with kitchen/bathroom and toilet/shower, but still very good. Right in town, so easy walk to river and park. Definitely recommend.

Walking distance to pubs, bakery and petrol station.

One Night Stay, 1 Queen Bed & Single Bed, Kitchette, Walk in Shower. The restaurant wasn't open, so we walked across the road to the Acacia Motor Lodge Restaurant, Food was Good, but a bit expensive. Otherwise you could walk down to the Pubs for a meal.

This is a little gem 😊 the staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are a good size and clean and the bed was very, very comfortable. Will definitely stay again

A very clean and tidy property. The room was clean and everything functioned well, bed was comfortable and a light breakfast was a nice touch

Noisy facets. You can see right up into the ceiling vents in the shower and bathroom. TV wouldn't engage nirmal tv stations we were not interested in Netflicks. Housekeeping was excellent. Position of property was perfect for us.
