Even though a budget room. It didn’t appear anything like the photos. The room had an unpleasant smell. Not all light bulbs were working and needs more light in the bathroom as the shower was very dark. The outside light did not work which meant for two female travelers, has safety concerns. Tv in the corner beside the bed. Could only watch properly from the dining table. Oven door did not shut properly, so we had to lean against the oven while food was cooking. We have stayed at plenty of budget motels before. This did not meet the standard.

This is a practical set up in an excellent location. No frills, but everything you need for basic hotel living. Free parking if needed. There is no "front desk", so no immediate assistance available on the premises, but attentive manager available via email/texting. Comfortable beds and space.

We had a great time staying here! The accomodation felt very cosy and comfortable - perfect for our week long stay. We even had a small kitchen which we couldn’t find at any other property for this price!
Lyndon was very accomodating and very easy and reliable to communicate with via email and calls.
The location was absolutely perfect - about 5-10 min walk to the city centre, 2 min walk to the supermarket, and right next to bus stop! It is also located on a very peaceful and quiet (and flat!) street which we loved.
We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Enjoyed views and location of the property. Appreciated the back entrance so we did not have to carry our heavy luggage up and down the stairs. Appreciated the free shuttle service.

The property was very well looked after and in a great location. Checking in was a very easy process and although there is no reception it was very easy to get in touch with someone if help was needed. If I am ever in Queenstown again I will definitely be staying there again!

Queenstown is a hilly place so parking at the apartment was a bit of a challenge and stressful for us. Other than that the apartment was clean and beds were comfortable. The location is not too bad but requires a bit of walking to the city centre. Groceries shopping is nearby.

We had the budget accommodation but did not expect it to be dirty. There were cobwebs on the ceiling. The upgrades had not been done very well and the baseboards were grimy.
The long detailed email for our arrival made us feel that we had been naughty in not responding quicker when we had no internet on our travels. We are staying at 18 properties during our visit to New Zealand and this is the most disappointing so far.

This place was fine. A bit dingy and run down. Tiny bathroom but nice shower. Tiny balcony without much of a view. Kitchen was well appointed. Beware the parking lot is tiny and requires some dicey parking skills. Weird old playground structures on the one little outdoor area lawn. But the location is nice - we walked to the market and to the base of gondola. Wouldn’t go back but the price was pretty reasonable for queenstown.

Made a last minute decision to stop in Queenstown and landed at a gem of spot. Nice-sized apartment with all the amenities. Perfect location; walking distance to everything. Wish I was staying longer, but will definitely look to stay here again in the future.

We had a comfortable stay in Apartment 11 at the front right of the motel. The parking is tight and the driveway is steep but that said the size and amenities (washing machine, dishwasher, heated towel racks and large TV)in the apartment outweighed this. The outside of the motel needs some maintenance (stairs, laundry, bins) but overall our stay was good.

I can’t recommend Abba Court! It was within walking distance to downtown, groceries, food, entertainment, etc. I unfortunately left a personal item to which the owner contacted me and graciously mailed it to a future lodging that I’ll be arriving at. How accommodating!

The apartment we stayed in had no wardrobe to use for our 12 night stay. Only 4 coat hangers to 2 of us. We had our room serviced twice during our stay. This was not on any information on their website. Not vacuumed at all and no broom for us to use to at least try to clean ourselves. We had to ask for tea bags and sugar to be replenished. The location is on the side of a hill and access is via a very steep driveway. We walked everywhere and going down the steep slope aggravated my already very sore knee. Had I known all this I would not have booked. Not. Cheap to stay but very little service offered for the price and length of our stay.

Great unit in great location. Plenty of space. Cool view. A shower that did not leak onto the bathroom floor. Made use of laundry downstairs. Communication was great until an unscheduled towel exchange, when they got snippy after giving us only half the towels they removed. But, they brought more.
A location plus is it's a couple blocks away from the CBD chaos and traffic. And grocery & gas station within 100 meters. Be ready for some outdoor stairs.

Loved the location of this property within 5-10 minutes walking to Queenstown City Centre. A little cafe/supermarket across the road with good coffee. Owners were super nice and place was clean although a bit dated on the outside, and bathroom was very small the inside was updated. Overall really good apartment and really enjoyed our time here.

This hotel is the last hotel we stayed in New Zealand. This is a no contact hotel, and when we arrived, the room is not locked with keys in the room. I am not surpised with this as some Australia hotels practised this. Hotel is very clean, and we can park right next to our room. We have all pots, utensils, plates, and even salt and pepper! Room is very clean as well. We stayed for 2 nights. Note that there is no house keeping to change the towels or make up room if you stay for more than 1 night. We are okay with this, but if you are not comfortable with no make up room or change of towels, you may not like this hotel. Overall, we like the stay for 2 nights and recommend this hotel.

We had the best holiday ever. The motel is only a 10min walk from almost everywhere we went in Queenstown, the one bedroom apartment with an extra bed in the living area was perfect for the three of us adults, was very quiet, well equipped, quite clean, lovely view, and the owner Lyndon is very nice. We will definitely be going back, hopefully with more of our family 😀.

The person we dealt with was helpful re check in. The unit was at the rear looking at a steep incline so no views. An odd layout with the TV in one corner and the armchairs in the single bed area at the extreme opposite end of the unit. For the cost it wasn't a match on other places we stayed at on our trip. The toilet roll holder kept falling off. The shower head kept dropping so had to be placed vertical. We had a knock on the door at 9.58 am on the departure date and were advised that they would be cleaning the room in 5 minutes.

Abbas Motel. Is a great place to stay while visiting Queenstown. The owner is great and takes great care of this property. Easy to walk to two grocery stores. Easy to walk to town. About 10 to 15 minute walk.
