The actual motel was pretty average; perfect for a place to shower and sleep but nothing special.
However, I'd definitely stay here again as the man who checked us in was extremely friendly and helpful, and it felt like good old fashioned service, where they genuinely want you to enjoy your stay, rather than it all being about money.

But the best thing about the Maryborough City Motel is the people who run it. They are truly passionate about hospitality, and it shows in the way they treat their guests. We felt like we were really welcome there, and we would definitely stay there again.

Great check. I believe the motel is renovating the rooms but unfortunately the room we had was old and tired. Clean and a comfortable bed. The road noise was consistent throughout the night.
