We had a lovely relaxing and comfortable stay. A highlight was hiring an Ebike and exploring the Wandiligong area. A great choice of cafes and restaurants.

The location was fantastic and a quick walk into Bright town centre. The scenery amazing and the hosts were fantastic. We could not have asked for a better weekend away and we will definitely be coming back again!

My husband and I decided to visit Bright for a short stay as a pre-birthday treat for me. Bright is, as always, so pretty and Meerrimeet Cottages no less so. We stayed in Woodsmoke cottage which is cosy and adequate for a couple. We met Alistair upon arrival and check in was nice and easy. Location is in a quiet part of Bright but less than 10 minutes' walk to town centre along a scenic path next to the river. We love sitting in front of the wood fire burner to keep ourselves warm in the evenings.

We thoroughly enjoyed a 2 night stay in Riverside Cottage at Merrimeet Cottages. The cottage was very comfortable and roomy. With 3 types of heating in the cottage it was cosy, even though our skills at keeping the wood fire going weren't good. The electric blanket on the bed was very much appreciated. There was everything we could need in the kitchen and Kellie even left some shortbread and milk. The gardens were absolutley delightful to wander around. At the bottom of the garden is the Ovens River and a walking path that takes you into town. We did this walk a few times and enjoyed the picturesque surrounds and the tranquility. Allistair and Kellie were a lovely couple who communicated quickly and were very helpful. We will deffinitely return to Merrimeet Cottages and highly recommend this as perfect place to stay in Bright.
