It was the first time that I have stayed at a hostel, so it was interesting. The communal petit déjeuner was fun. I made a pot of coffee to share.

We enjoyed the location and the traditional housing. we could walk around the Auberge and reach the St-Laurent in 5 min. Many shops around but you need the car.
The Staff is very welcoming!
The Maple Syrup they produce is excellent.
Great for lovers or family.

The greeting was really warming. It was quiet and peaceful.

No breakfast, coffee cost $2/cup, uncomfortable mattress, A/C very noisy and window couldn’t open, no Kleenex anywhere, toilet seat was broken, no staff anywhere. No hooks to hang things, no hand towel, pillows were horrible. We are seniors and the path to the front door was treacherous with rocks that you could trip on. The bathtub was slippery and no handles. There was no place to get breakfast, except a small place that only opened between 9:30 & 10 and they only served a panini. One would think they could offer free coffee and a muffin, but no-nothing. Kindness goes a long way.

Although our room was a little small and the shared bathroom was compact and had an awkward placement for the sink. The host was awesome and lovely! Also it was good value for the price.

Wonderful location. We stayed in the oldest section of the building. There was a slight odor in the bathroom - but the beds were very comfortable. The uniqueness of the "suite" made up for the lower and peaked ceilings.
Very friendly staff and very clean!

Well the property surpasses it's amenities and ratings as an inn. It is not a hotel but it is a 5 stars inn providing a beautiful experience for families or just a group of friends.
The owner is a descendant of the first nations and he does a pretty good job keeping you entertained and well served.

Experiencing staying in a 16th century building.

The property allowed us to bring our food and use a kitchen. There were tables outside and even a fire pit with wood. Great place for young people on a budget.

We were disappointed. First of all, the room and the surrounding areas were not clean at all. Second, we paid for five people but we only got two sets of towels, two bottles of water, and two bottles of shampoo. Third, the host wasn’t very friendly. We’ll never visit it again.

It is a 375 year old building, so everything isnt going to be perfect, but it is a really nice quite place to stay, and it is close to everything.

Nice place. We loved to have the bathroom next to the room. We forgot we needed to bring soap.I would have love to have a hard egg. I'm not sure if I was aloud to cook but we didn't really had the time to spend inside the place. We were out most of the time. Not too good for small cars, I was happy we had a truck

Property is in very poor state of repair. We almost left when we arrived but stayed due to the difficulty of finding another location. I can not recommend this place.

Very welcoming, easy going atmosphere. Common area is full of life but quieted down nicely at a reasonable hour. It’s a nice spot on the island.

This little hotel is unusual. In winter it operates as a place for dog sledding having something like 200+ huskies. The dogs don't make noise unless excited to play with you. It is a good location up a hill off the main road that circles Il'e'd Orleans. The continental breakfast is very good. They give you bottled water as tap water not potable though fine for showers. I believe the owner/manager is of the First Nation

The hotel was very nice and clean. The common areas were very comfortable and inviting. And the hotel staff was pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to stay for a few days outside of Quebec City and not have to pay the high prices of staying in Quebec City
