I was in a room on the second floor of the building behind the main building that faces the road. Room was very clean. Full fridge and microwave. No coffee or hair dryer or shampoo etc. there was a small bar of soap and some liquid (I assume soap) in a dispenser in the small walk-in shower. Towels were clean and soft. Lots of plug ins and lights near the bed. GFI plug in the bathroom did not work. Couch, small table with two wooded chairs, bedside table, and unit with two draws with the the microwave in the middle (probably was a tv stand). Wooden chairs need to be glued to the cross pieces and were not completely stable. Television worked fine. WIFI available with information on the phone on the bedside table. Digital clock was in the shelf of the bedside table, I did not use it. Two hooks by the room door to hang things, but no closet. Bed was comfortable. Very quiet, except two times during the night where there were 'clangs or dings' which may have been the baseboard heater or the water pipes? They didn't last long, but did wake me up. Otherwise completely silent. Lots of parking. Had to climb stairs to second floor, so if you can't do stairs you would want to specify that you don't want a second story room. Very friendly staff at check in! I only stayed for one night, and it was perfect for what I needed. I knew that they didn't have amenities so I had brought a coffee make, ice cube trays and a hair dryer. Very happy with my stay.

Good size room- comfy bed. Very clean. Only noticeable issue was large pot of cigarette butts at the door. This should be cleaned up as the previous renter vacates the room. In my opinion

Place is a dump. Air conditioner was broken refused to do anything about it. Refused to provide a receipt. Dirty and falling apart. Deck made of plywood not boards. Staff dint speak English. Office always closed during checkout to avoid complaints

I had an awesome stay at this property. When the friendly and helpful man at check in heard I had driven such a long way he upgraded my room at no extra charge. The room was spacious and very clean. There was lots of hot water. I was driving an ev and there was a handy plug for me to slowly charge as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

If you get beyond the outside first impression (admittedly it was night) the room was great. My first impression was the it was nearly out of business and was probably rented as rental property. But the room was very nice, very clean, and seemed to include everything including a full size refrigerator, stove, dishes and two nice double beds. And all seemed to work well.

Our plans changed the day before and we were able to book a room 24 hours before. On arrival the friendly owner offered us a free upgrade to a larger room in a building behind the main motel. Quiet with comfortable chairs, couch, TV, wifi, microwave and full size fridge. The bed was very comfortable and bathroom updated. He offered helpful advice about finding supper and bk the next morning as we got on our way to Ottawa

Is it old and a bit antiquated, YES. However, it appears to be a young immigrant family that runs the motel and it's easy to see their pride of ownership.

We were hiking in north Algonquin on Thanksgiving weekend and needed a convenient hotel close to the northern park entrance. The motel complex is older, but very well maintained and clean at the west end of Pembroke closest to Petawawa. The friendly owner checked me in and when I told him my daughter was joining me in a few hours arriving from a different direction he upgraded us to a spacious larger room with two Queen beds, a couch and sitting area with fireplace at the rear of the property. We had a great stay and would definitely stay again when travelling in the area.
