The property is in an excellent location and it was a fun time.

The surrounding area and view is amazing and the location is close to town. However, the accommodations itself need improvement. Our AC was not working and there were things broken in the room.

Pool closes early Bathroom grout isn’t cleaned well Couldn’t use the pool our entire trip due to maintenance- wasn’t notified of this ahead of time

Clean and modern, it is close to town and beach front.

Everything was so wonderful and cute, but our shower rod was on the brink of falling off and the towel holders were also falling out of the wall 😩😩😩

There was no one there to meet me, I was unable to check in and there were no instructions to help me check in. I had to leave, it was dark and the emergency telephone number just rung out. No one was there to help me!

Clean and comfortable accommodation, lovely quick walk to the beach! Would be even better if it had better ocean view.

We loved everything about our stay at the breakers. Beautiful, peaceful and close to everything.

It’s clean. There’s no TV in the room, and no blackout blinds, who ever prefer it. When it’s dark outside, there’s no outdoor lighting to find the way to your room, had to use my phones flashlight. Had to check-in electronically, looks like there’s no one at the check-in office.

On line check in and keyless entry. No staffing on site.

Our cottage was great! Clean and tidy and it was great to have the fridge and stovetop.

Our unit was horrible. It smelled like mold & mildew, the walls are so thin, we could hear our neighbors talking, the window screens (the ones that had screens) were torn & flapping in the wind. Bees were coming in. One of the bath towels had big blood stains on it. There was no step to get onto the deck. No TV…. & the sign says ‘TV’. Unacceptable!!! We bagged our 2nd night & just left!!! Don’t waste your money on this place!!!

I would give this Motel a 7 out of 10. I would agree with all the previous reviews in that the motel needs to be updated and the exterior needs to be freshened up. We loved the spaciousness of our two-bedroom apartment. The room was great. The beds were very comfortable. I think it is overpriced. The staff was super nice!

Small cottages set across the street from the beach.

We had rented for our weeks vacation. Th Ere was no closet to hang our clothes. Just a few hooks on the wall. They eventually found us a coat rack. We were paying $700 per night and were not happy about the lack of a closet. The pool was not clean. Things were floating around. Several days I had to call to get towels in the pool area. They were supposed to have a cafe open for breakfast and lunch on Memorial Day. On Fourth of July it still was not open. Very disappointing.

We arrived early and were greeted by friendly staff. They were able to get us into our lodging early and even upgraded us to a cottage. The location was beautiful, clean, inviting and had everything you would want while on your vacation. The listing of the site is exactly what you received when you arrived. No surprises and no disappointments. We loved our stay at The Breakers in Montauk and can't wait to go back again. Hotel.com gave us exactly what we wanted and exactly what we paid for. Thank you!!

Inside as clean outside needs update falling apart

Property was located across the street from the ocean. Small bathroom, no microwave or TV, but nice. Friendly staff.

I liked the location and the pool was nice. I wish there was a TV to watch the Emmy’s.

This is my favorite place to stay in Montauk, the location is perfect, directly across from the beach, private cottages, 2 min drive into town, heated pool, bar, and well kept rooms that are updated, contemporary beach vibes. It’s a gem, my 5th year staying here.

Very spacious and private. Outdoor space belonged to unit gives charm and privacy. Staff were very attentive and great service. Good food and drink at coco cafe. Very small size size of wall may need repainting but that is minor detail. Hard work keeping up. My family had very happy time.

Had a great time at the Breakers. The little bungalow rooms are the way to go. Very private and has everything you need for a short stay, plus somewhat of a view. Rooms that are not bungalows are plopped in the parking lot with no outdoor privacy and thin walls. Bed was comfy and room decor was very trendy and cute. The price of the motel was decent for a weekend got after Labor Day but the cost almost doubled come the weekend. One bad part is the hotel restaurant and bar are not open at all unless it’s the weekend after Labor Day. I understand why but seems if they plan to have guests they should at least offer a few restaurant hours and beer and wine at the bar. People were using the pool and would be nice to have some sort of service available. The pool is getting a little run down and is not heated but it did the job. Overall would return but would not want to pay $500+ a night to stay here.
