Awesome Hosts and a wonderful getaway. The room was very comfortable and Julia our host did everything to make our stay enjoyable (including a delicious breakfast!) Our only complaint was with Expedia - after booking they did not send us important check in details (like the code to the door), but Julia helped us out. Highly recommend!

Our host was charming and helpful, and the beautiful brick home was cozy and warm in the freezing weather. We enjoyed walking to a good restaurant that was in the neighborhood.

We stayed in the Walker Suite (King Bed, Private Entrance). Overall we quite liked our spacious and comfortable room. Welcoming and cozy, well suited to our 2 day stay. Proprietor was very friendly and accommodating. One word of caution about our room was that it is adjacent to the kitchen/dining area. We didn't find it too disturbing but we certainly heard some of the activity from there. If you're a late sleeper you may want to pack your ear plugs. We'd definitely stay again in both this room and in this house.

The room was comfortable and quaint. The room had all the amenities needed. I would definitely go back.

Great location for Bruce Trail Hiking. The house and property was great. The only thing I had an issue with was the TV the batteries in the remote seemed dead. Otherwise everything was great. The coffee and cream was a nice touch.

Danny house is beautiful both inside and outside. The entrance is beautifully decorated with flowers. The room was clean and cozy as well. The host was also super friendly, communicative and accommodating Staying at Danby House is a great way to stay local and support local businesses

It was really a great stay at a reasonable price. The location was perfect for us, and the place was spotless. The host was very friendly and approachable. We’ll stay there again when In the area for sure.

On our stay we had a washroom for our own exclusive use. We were late checking in but were met with pleasant smiles even from their daughter Ally

We attended a wedding in the area. By the end of the night the parking was full and we had to park side ways to fit on the end of a Driveway. The place is listed as a bed and breakfast but there is no breakfast. There is a boxed breakfast you can order but pricey. Place was clean and enjoyed the private entrance. An older home so a/c was a plug in unit which is loud at night. Check in was smooth. Overall a nice stay

It was very picturesque and beautiful. The gardens were amazing. The only problem I had was not breakfast. I found the option of a boxed breakfast expensive.
