Good service, friendly staff. Food/dining options nearby.
6.0
We thought the staff was friendly and helpful. We purchased groceries as we were tired if restaurant food after 6 days travel
There were were no utensils, dishes, pots, pans etc. in the kitchen. We ended up going out. No soap was provided. Though the bathroom was tidy, the way the counter wraps around the toilet, it is impossible to grab some tp without smacking your elbow. We eventually set the tp on the counter.
Staff was kind and attentive at check in, but we wont stay with them again. Their concept holds promise but missed the mark.

We have stayed here several times, no big bells and whistles, but clean and easy access from the road. Staff is super helpful and kind

This hotel brand has a bit of an identity crisis that is really no fault of this location in particular. Why provide a kitchenette with nothing to cook or eat with? Who is traveling with kitchen supplies? Also, the main area space for coffee is large but no breakfast is supplied presumably because of the kitchenette and the hotel's catering towards longer term guests but also not. A few other notes:
- Great location. Nice walking/running pathway nearby and easily accessible to drive to other locations in Missoula. It's also very quiet.
- Smells like an apartment which I didn't love. With people cooking, the ventilation isn't great and the various odours travel through the hallways and likely sink into the carpets. Huge gaps in the door didn't help.
- They updated the TV box while we were there. We didn't want anyone in our room so left a do not disturb hanger on the door but they still came in anyway which left us with a negative vibe.
- No hand soap in the bathroom.
- Tub was very small.
- Bed was comfortable.
- Lots of convenient parking.
- Except for the smell mentioned above at dinner time in particular, our room was mostly clean unlike some of the other comments here.
- We had few interactions with staff but they were friendly when we did.
- The hotel served our needs fine but I doubt I'd book again.
-Seems more appropriate for long term stays than a couple of nights. Great for someone wanting to cook and store food if they bring their own supplies to do so.

It took forever to get checked in to our hotel. There was sort of a kitchenette in the room, but everything else was poor quality.

no ice.

Reasonable rates. Room was quiet and beds were comfortable. Kitchenette was handy. Room/bathroom specific, could have been cleaner.

The place was a decent stay for the amount of money. It was close to the freeway but very quiet. The staff was super polite. It is a safe area. Easy check in and check out.
Shower pressure was great with plenty of hot water.
It does allow pets. My allergies acted up a lot in the room but that was my fault for staying in a place that allows cats and dogs.

The service was pleasant. The room had dirty towels under the sink and one of the beds looked like it had been remade with same sheets. The shampoo and body wash were empty. My husband went and asked for some, was giving shampoo and conditioner. We asked again for body was the next day and it was immediately changed. We won’t be staying there next time. This is my 2nd stay and we had similar problems last time. The customer service was good, so we tried again. We will stay elsewhere when we visit our freshman from now on

Do NOT stay at this hotel.
I have never stayed at a hotel with such deplorable customer service. The staff was horrible. In the five days we stayed at the hotel, I was only able to find staff to help me on two occasions--when I checked in and when I checked out. My husband and I came and went at various hours during the day and night and we never saw anyone at the desk. We couldn't get clean towels and our room was not cleaned or restocked once during those five days. We used the same towels for five days and only by sheer luck didn't run out of toilet paper. Only one young girl on staff was helpful, everyone else sat outside smoking or disappeared. People who didn't work at the hotel hung out with the staff and confronted guests, housekeeping sat in the back office reading a magazine, boxes sat stacked in the lobby for days, and pallets sat in front of the entrance for hours, a definite safety hazard. The service was so bad, my husband and I cut our trip short by a day and left early. I will never stay at My Place in Missoula again.

I travel 60 nights a year and am very low maintenance but this was my first stay at a My Place. Cleanliness in my room was a concern, urine and fecal matter on the toilet seat, balls of dog hair on the ground, dried food on the counter, and a mess so greasy and smelly in the microwave that I can only assume someone put a burrito in there uncovered for many minutes. The icing on the cake is that the next morning I looked at my bank statement to see that I was double charged. Front desk staff blamed corporate for “the oldest computers” and “my manager walked out this weekend, I have no idea how to help you.” Geesh. The erson behind me in line was there to report the same issue, dirty room and double charged.

How would you feel if you arrived at your hotel after a long day of travel and there was no room waiting for you?
How would you feel if the hotel made no attempt to help you find new accommodations elsewhere at 1am?
We ended up next door at the “come on inn”. They treated us like family.
Whatever you do don’t stay here. We were told it is standard policy to overbook to make sure they are always at 100% capacity.
This is the craziest thing that has ever happened while “staying” at a hotel. I don’t care how they respond to this review - there is no excuse. This was not the first time they have done this we were told.

I had to find a place to stay with my 2 tiny dogs after the Steam Plant hotel proved to be just plain scary.
It worked out fine and since I needed a last minute place for the night I was very happy.

Did not even stay in the room, opted to drive all the way home. Beds looked like they had been slept in and remade. Everything was dingy and dirty.
5.0
Room was fine, full size fridge and small range plus microwave. Did not use any of these. Room slightly larger than average newer rooms, seems designed for longer stays.
6.0
Bed sheets were clean which is a huge plus and the staff ladies were friendly. The room had some brown stains on the bathroom tile, and the toilet was left with a mess from the previous users. It's an ok stay but I am not pleased with the cleanliness.

A definite upgrade compared to most hotels. They thought of everything someone might need while traveling. Kitchenette had a full size refrigerator and freezer, which made ice.
The garbage can was on a slider under the sink....we had a cat with us so this small detail made us happy. Clean, quiet, great views and very comfortable beds and pillows.

The property is intended for extended stay so has laundry facilities and full kitchen, but no continental breakfast.

This hotel was not as expected. It was dirty, from the front desk area to the elevator to the hall carpets (even trash and large stains on the floor) to the room. Sheets were okay, but the floor was covered in dog hair. We asked for it to be vacuumed. It never was. The kitchenette has no supplies - no pans, silverware, dishes, etc. I had been told over the phone that late checkout should not be a problem, just to ask upon arrival. The front desk staff was less than helpful on this matter and finally (after several attempts to get approval), morning of, said we could have an extra half hour. I would’ve made other plans if I would have known in advance that late checkout was a problem. I would not recommend this hotel. From service to cleanliness, I found it very disappointing.

Our room..the carpet was sticky, the counters were not clean. The sheets seemed to be clean enough to sleep on. The bathroom sink was clogged. For the price of $200 I was grateful to have a place to lay my head for the night.

Bathroom stained, comforter stained, empty can left in the garbage. No breakfast.

I think they had a fitness center and breakfast for the price

Sink didn’t drain, even the sink stopper was missing. Linens were stained.
