No towels??? Cmon that is inexcusable

Family and I stay here every year for the past 5 years and dont plan on stopping! Friendly staff, close to beach and over all awesome experience everytime. Definitely recommend this place for your stay.

An older motel but it was very clean and the staff were super friendly and helpful.

Windows and sills were filthy. Doors dirty especially around knobs. Pillows were extremely old and flat. Mattress hard and uncomfortable. Cabinets were well worn. Curtains had holes and metal clips holding them to rod. Place looked worn, shabby and dirty.

This is my second stay here. The location can’t be beat. One block from the beach and a short walk to the pub . The check in is easy. The motel is old but it’s clean and the beds were comfortable. Will likely book again next year for a longer stay .

Great family vacation at the Sunny Beach Hotel! The location is great and the maid that helped to clean our room was helpful and friendly.

Is in a great location, close to Skaha Beach and park, has BBQ's and other kitchen facilities depending which room you stay in, the downfall is the parking is hard to get in and out of, there was black mold and maggots in the bathtub, the front desk lady wasn't the most friendly upon check in, only a thin blanket and sheet for bedding so had to double up and still used my own bedding... both the pool and hot tub were down for maintenance during my stay.

Great location,close to the beach.Motel is in need of a facelift..room was old and run down.The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Amanda at reception.Pool and ice machine were out of service,not great in the peak season of Summer.

Walking to the beach

The room smelled like a combination of mildew and stale cigarette smoke. The staff acted like $252 for this room in August was a great bargain. Meanwhile, a similar motel (with a pool) across town, was charging $151.

The property was in a good location, but parking was very tight. I had to back out past every room. There were 4 of us, there were only 3 pillows and 2 towels. The sofa bed was old and in very bad shape, the queen bed wasn’t comfortable either.

It was close to the beach. It’s in need of repair.

This property is owned by same people all three motels in row. We didn't get to try the ice cream or the mini golf! The beach is a little less 5 than mins walking distance. transit bus stops to get around town is also approximately 5mins walk, But it's very limited in service! Especially on weekends!we learned this the hard way! The hotel room did come with a full size fridge! It does need replacing so I wouldn't keep too much in there! We relied on ice and the freezer where it over iced the back of the freezer! The bed well let's just say, the bed was very hard as a rock, and you could feel the box spring through the mattress and I had to double up the two thin pillows to make one! I stole my friends blanket since the blankets wer thin! I do suggest bringing your own bed, blankets, pillows, and toiletries! The pullout couch was a hazard! It's a flimsy mattress that you have to find a spot and not move and hope you don't fall through! Needless to say my friend didn't get any sleep! I got a rough sleep! And we had to ask for soap so we could wash our hands! Never in all my travels have I ever had to ask for soap! Or not slept! If you like rough sleep and want bring your own stuff then this is your place to go :) just maybe clean the shower and look around before using it, as previous tenants stuff was left in our room left behind so I don't think the rooms really get cleaned! And tub was brown! When I tried to say something I was dismissed as employees more concerned smoking

We have stayed at this hotel for 24 summers already. Not many things have changed. Only the location is the best.

Our fist night stay was a little ruff the pillows were so flat you couldn’t rest your head properly but the next day the staff was there with four new ones. We stayed four nights and had no problem at all wonderful stay thank you

Definitely could have been better, our sheets were made with pubic hair inside the bed, asked for them to be remade with new sheets, only for them to be brought and not redone (disrespectful imo). Otherwise this place is a bit run down but conveniently located steps from Skaha beach (the one main upside). The ceiling fan was never dusted off - won’t stay here again. Needs tlc.

Rooms nice and big, kitchenette don't have an oven or stove top. TV pretty small but works. Pool and sauna was out of order. Good area close to beach.

None of the pictures of the actual room were seen on Expedia. Was not at all what we were expecting. The jacuzzi tub was right beside the bed and had to share a drain plug with the other tub. Kids were in the tub and sprayed water onto me while I was laying down watching a movie on my phone as that was the only way to watch anything…. The tub was about a foot away and free standing sink at the end of the bed. No light above the tub. We used a rechargeable camping light we brought. The dishes were dirty in the cupboards. There was little to no cable. Few channels and no option to rent movies. No TVs in the actual bedrooms. The toilet kept clogging and we were given a broken plunger to fix it. The beds were very uncomfortable and we had the worst sleeps. No Ac in the bedroom so had to leave the door open. It was exceedingly hot during our stay so we spent more time in the room than planned, it wasn't a good experience. I get that you are paying that price for being so close to the beach but I wouldve rather driven to it and stayed in a nicer hotel. I was embarrassed by the room, we had brought my daughter's boyfriend and had made it out to be decent when we invited him. We seriously considered paying more to stay somewhere else… We ended up leaving 3 days before the trip ended because I just couldn't handle being in that room anymore. The lady at the front desk and staff were very pleasant.
