The positive: the motel was clean and comfortable, which made our stay more pleasant. The room was tidy and well-maintained. However, there were a few areas that need improvement.
One major issue was with the baby crib we requested. Upon arrival, we were informed that we would need to assemble the crib ourselves. Despite our best efforts, the crib did not set up properly and seemed unsafe for our child. The staff suggested that we use the crib as it was, but it felt unstable and we were concerned it could collapse. This was especially stressful as we were traveling for the first time with a small child and needed a safe sleeping arrangement. Eventually the staff did get the crib set up properly.
The in-room coffee provided was not fresh, and the coffee creamer was expired. These small details could easily be addressed to enhance the overall guest experience.

The lights are a bit bright outside at night, so bring an eye mask.

It is centrally located with a water view. The beds are very comfortable and the room is clean with all the amenities. The staff are friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

We both thoroughly enjoyed the location and it's walkability to parks, shopping, and restaurants.
The front desk staff are incredibly friendly. Our room was clean and tidy - well done, and thank you, housekeeping! It was clear to us that everyone at Westview puts in a solid effort in making the motel a pleasant place to stay.
Only critique (beyond their control) would be that the walls between rooms are thin. Not a big deal with quiet neighbors, a very big deal with loud neighbors. Guess what we had? Remember ear plugs.

Great sunsets, reasonable prices and friendly staff and helpful staff, but the beds left a bit to be desired as far as comfort level. It would be better if they had bedside lamps and hooks on the inside of the bathroom doors.

The rooms are great, floor was dirty and installed by someone that had no idea what they were doing as the vinyl planks were separated all over the place. Some of the outside areas concerned me. Lack of handrails on most staircases and several dangerous fall hazards which should have guards. The driveway is steep and difficult to navigate. Not recommended for those with small children or elderly needing handrails and guards.

interesting little vintage motel that has been updated. Not luxury but certainly has all you need for an overnight. Very central to waterfront and lots of restaurants. Staff were super welcoming and helpful.

The property was in immaculate condtion looked newly renovated. Outside of all units was freshly painted. Beautiful view. Comfy bed. Office very welcoming and helpful. Downside would be steep entranceway which someone older like myself would not be walkable however with a car no problem. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone.

Property has been recently renovated. Our room had a nice view. Room is very clean. My only complaint was the knobs for the shower faucet is not very functional. It is not firm (ie. loose) and actually fell off. They are very old worn out knobs. I would think with the renovation, they would easily have updated the knobs.

The owner was very thorough with the check in process. She showed me to our room and went over all amenities. Also referred us to the many different restaurants. If you like Greek food Snickers is awesome and it’s just up the street from the motel.

Room was nice price was decent. The lady running the place is high strung. Had an issue with the lock being sticky which the employee helped me with on one occasion, on the second night the lock came apart when I pulled the key out. Owner was adamant I pay for it.

I stayed overnight for a family gathering. The check-in and check-out were smooth and the motel staff very friendly. The location is excellent as it's near the ferry to Comox. The unit was very clean and comfortable.
