Great location on the beach and very good restaurant. Rooms need to be refurbished and updated. Comfortable bed and pillows but TV didn’t work.

We booked the Family Beachfront Cottage at Apple Beachfront resort. It was more on the pricy side but we decided to treat ourselves and in the pictures it looked very nice. Unfortunatelly the reality was far from nice at all. The room was a dump to be honest and on top of that it was dirty and smelly. The staff seemed to have no clue at all that we had made a reservation and paid in full so the checkin was a nightmare on it’s own. However we decited to make the best of it because we were only staying for a couple of nights and we were on the beach afterall.
When it was time to turn in and we moved one of the pillows a heard of huge cocroaches spread out throughout the bed. We discovered that the wall molding was down behind one of the beds and cocroaches were litreally curling up on the sides and in the bed. We were horrified! That was the final drop and we decided that we couldn’t stay there. No one from the staff was there and we werent able to contact them on the phone. Fortunatelly we got a room in a hotel nearby after a short walk, because it was past midnigt afterall.
The following day we went back to Apple beach and demanded a refund but the hotel declined our request as did Hotels.com.
So in the end we had to pay for another hotel on top of the first one.
Terrible service, dirty common areas, just entirely unaccaptable!

It was a small and cosy hotel right by the sea. Great restaurant with really friendly staff. Some maintainance was needed on the surroundings. The rooms were ok standard considering the price. We were overall very pleased with our stay.

The property is in a good location on the beach front at white sand beach. Our room was a bit dated with a moudly smell, room could do with some updating.

Hard to find, signage on the side of the building coming down the alley is faded and tough to see from a distance. The pool was very good the first few days but rather murky the third, I suspect that the chemicals were not balanced. Nice à la carte breakfast. We were supposed to have a “deluxe poolside” room, nothing too deluxe about it. Great beach access from the restaurant, decent beach furniture. Overall a good budget stay for the price we paid.

Very much back to Thai style from the good old days.
Much of the resort is made of wood. It’s not luxurious, but it got what you need and is very close to the beach.

We had extremely good stay at the resort. The staff was great and very helpful even though it was a bit challenging to find a common language occasionally! The location is perfect as the beach is awesome, all the services are just around the corner and you can easily take day trips from there to anywhere in the island.

I traveled Alone to KOH chang, found Apple resort and Even after 5 nights of stay and a motorbike trip around the Island, I found That This was the best location of a resort:D only thing to remark was the light walls to the Street, but they normaly went silent around 22:00 so just a reminder:)

The staff at the restaurant kept getting orders wrong. Really annoying! There was one man in the restaurant that was really professional.
But the rest of the staff were nice and helpful.
The rooms were very nice and clean. Altough our toilet didn't flush so good. But our friends toilet worked well.

the food in the restaurant is not good... you find much better food in the restaurants around
the car-parking lot is extremly small.. must park car on the street.. otherwise ur car is blocked, as they have many thai-customers arriving with their car.
the resort at all is meanwhile a little bit old and would need some renovations.
it´s very central and not far from the end of the beautiful sandy beach
all in all it´s a good resort to stay...

The hotel is right on the beach. Many restaurants around, including hotel's own. The road on the other side of the hotel has a lot of street food stalls. The rooms are just basic and bathrooms are very small. If you want to spend a lot of time in the comfort of the room, this hotel will not suit you. Another problem is parking. The parking can accommodate around six cars, but every time one car is to be moved, at least two other cars will have to be moved as well. So the staff phones you when somebody wants to take out his or her car. This happened to me thrice in just one day. But maybe you can leave the car outside in a public parking, around 100-150 m away. Staff was very helpful, though it looked under staffed.

Great place to unwind and relax right on the beach front swim on the beach or in the pool, food and drinks are reasonably priced. Just a few minutes walk to the main road is where the street food comes alive between 5pm and 10pm, come dusk the restaurant setting and soft music arranged on the sands creates a pleasing and romantic feeling especially with all the fresh fish display ready to be cooked specially for you. Just a bit on the downside, i have to admit that the hotel main road hand written signage seriously needs replacement with a professional painted one inorder to locate the hotel without difficulty and the so called reception and rooms do need a bit of an upgrade especially the tattered towels. Be prepared to roll your suitcase and carry your bags a good 100 meters from the main road to the Hotel as the shuttle drops you off on the main road owing to the narrow internal roads leading to the hotel, apart from this yes, i would visit again

Great stay with my family for a week at this hotel. Two young kids loved the pool. Great room in the 2nd floor overlooking the pool, clean, good air con and nice big balcony. Great value for money. Nice and quiet.

Excellent friendly staff, great food, all dishes where truly delicious and authentic. Although its clean the facilities are becoming too old. Renovating the rooms, and especially the bathrooms will upgrade this place remarkably

The place is well located on the beach. However, it’s a place for families with lots of ADHD children running unattended and loud. The staff doesn’t do a thing. It’s not a place to relax. And not a place to swim either. The price is ok, however the included breakfast is poor and very basic. My room wasn’t cleaned at all and towel were not replaced.

i was there for 4 nights and not once did they asked if i needed new towels or to clean my room,they just pretty much ignored me,i wonder why?i think i was the only guest there during my stay being low season and all,my room was so-so,had a slight problem with flushing the toilet,you can tell something was loose somewhere,you cant seem to find anyone for any help and even if you did they have no clue what youre saying or maybe theyre just playing dumb,i had one bad nights sleep because they put a dog in a room just beside mine and he was making so much noise trying to get out,i didnt know where that sounds was coming from until i did some investigating the next morning and freed the poor soul in return for a face wash,it is indeed a beachfront property but you can get something better for just a little bit more,the doors to my room was really shabby,you cant really lock it properly so your personal belongings are always at risk when youre out exploring the island,so security is pretty much out as well,i can go on and on about this place but i see no point in that so you get my drift,i will not recommend this joint to anyone unless i dislike them,hehe..

Rooms were not as advertised. We were stuck in a corner with no view, no balcony and no wifi. Hated this hotel. It was expensive and the owner admitted that the room pictures on hotels.com were not the same as the rooms we had booked. They refused to move us to better rooms and only gave us a tiny refund even though we booked two rooms for 4 nights. I will never stay here again and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

You could not get a better location on White Sand beach than this. Central and right on the beach.
The rooms are basic but everything works ok including the shower, aircon, comfy bed,TV, fridge. No 'frippery' here just the basics, a small seating area outside the room overlooking the small pool. No kettle, no security boxes, no beach towels, no breakfast included, free water on arrival but no more, no umbrellas in the room (ask at reception), no cleaning unless you ask.
Definitely a budget resort.

Good stay, 3 rooms for party of 5 for two nights. Location great - at the beach. Nice pool, staff friendly, service OK, food good, internet fast but only working in the mornings. Beach, excellent at this location, soft white sand, no rocks etc.
Parking available only for one car (which we were lucky to get).All in all - happy.
