Being remodeled. What they have done is nice. Like they have a 2 burner stove to cook on and a small refrigerator!!

Everything was close by. The Staff was so wonderful. Helped with all my needs. My husband doesn't has a short time on this earth and we haven't been here in 28 years. The price was great and you never run out of water. I would stay here again.

This little motel was a very clean quiet place just on the outskirts of Ellsworth, ME. It was very convenient to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. I definitely would recommend this place to beat the price of the chain hotels.

We (married couple, no kids) needed a place to stay overnight while visiting Acadia. It might not be the best place if you want to be closer to Bar Harbor, but for somewhere to just sleep before heading back to the park, it was perfect.

Bed not so comfortable. Room not well insulated for noise. Bathroom sink aerator sends water everywhere. Most rooms not ADA friendly Roku TV was a nice amenity. Otherwise, not bad.

I stayed here at two different times during my trip. It's a no-frills hotel with clean, very functional rooms. If you are looking for a place to crash for a night or two, this is a good choice.

White Birches is a delightful little strip motel. Some parts of it appear to be in a renovation process. Our room, although not renovated/updated, was still quite nice. It was clean and had everything we needed. Our room also had queen-size beds (not doubles) which we require. The office staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The only downside to this motel was that two of the three ice machines were not working and the only working one was the scoop/chest freezer type and there was no scoop. Overall, however, this was a wonderful motel.

Check-in was a breeze. Tidy and comfortable. Very comfortable beds, lots of towels. Parking very convenient. Chairs in front of the room could use a coat of paint.

I liked the convenience of the location . I did not like the amount of smoking . no one used the smoking areas

Not a bad place to stay. It's close to town and easily accessible.

It met our requirement of spending less than $200 a night and was a 30 minute drive into bar harbor.

The staff were an excellent, friendly,l group of people. I was accommodated with everything I needed. At a very reasonable price. Everyone that stayed there or was affiliated with Whitebirch Motel were great and friendly people. I look forward to my next visit.

Didn't like the steps but otherwise the property was good for the price.

144- Bathroom door didn’t shut, fridge froze our sodas, bathroom sink splatters water because it had no aerator/diffuser, bathroom sink drain was slow and would backup, and at night people from outside can see through the curtains because they are so thin. The place really needs some minor maintenance and love.

It was clean a little outdated but great location and savings to be so close to Acadia.

The room was clean and the tiling has been updated except in the bathroom. The property was a little run down you could see water damage to the outside of the buildings. The bathrooms could use some updates, but was good overall. I had to unplug the air freshener and open the windows because it was way too much. They don’t really need them unless they’re trying to cover up something. Beds are firm. I would stay again

The motel was clean and had a comfortable bed, and good working AC. but is definitely ready for a renovation. I would stay here again. The staff were easy to contact and very flexible!

Evrything was fine

First let's start with the good. It's close to Acadia, the price is right and you can bring your pet. The towels and pillows were both nice quality. There is a fridge and microwave in the room. The fridge does a good job and is nice and cold. The TV in the room is nice as well. Now for the bad, the room smelled damp, moldy, like wet dog, and cigarettes. They try to cover it up with plug in air fresheners which only makes it worse. The A/C units leave the rooms very very humid for some reason. We mostly ended up keeping the windows open to air the room out. The mattress must be original to the building of the motel. It was the most uncomfortable and squeaky mattress I ever had the displeasure of sleeping on. The walls are very thin and the hotel is pet friendly. So I hope you are a deep sleeper, because you will hear your neighbors and their pets so clearly its like they are in the room with you. There was also no maid service at all during our 5 day stay. We had to hunt down a maid for a towel, toilet paper and soap refills. They do provide an envelope for a tip for the maids though. My tip is provide maid service for people during a multi-day stay if you expect money in that envelope. Also do you enjoy hot showers? Well too bad for you. Luke warm water it is! Lastly, the deadbolt on the room door is purely ornamental. Never again, not even for free.

This was a great location accessible to Bar Harbor and Acadia Park with better rates then the places inside Bar Harbor.

The motel was an older place, so there weren't many updated features . However, the place was very clean and comfortable. It was really all we could ask for at the price point we paid.

Excellent stay close to Acadia. Staff was super helpful and the room was equipped with the utensils we needed to cook.

Very Comfortable and Relaxing and the Staff was Very Accommodating!!
