The stay was fine. I would not have been able to check-in except the manager happened to drive past me while leaving for the day. The office closes at 6pm, which is not what is on the hotels.com site. Clearly, this is unacceptable.

this trip was a little disappointing as we had a room that was right on side of the road,it was a handicap room which we did not need, very small and dark.the breakfast was very good ,the ocean view was very nice but had to leave the room and walk a ways to see sun rise.kind of selfish with towels.

Such a beautiful, spacious room. Comfy bed and pillows, fluffy towels, many little touches (loved the hanging magnifying mirror). Spectacular ocean view. Sitting loft was a surprise! Loved falling asleep while under the stars! (As seen through the sky light over the bed). Will most definitely be back!

Breakfast is sparse at best.. no eggs or waffles .
Honestly the hotel peaked in1985 and has just been coasting ever since.
Room was clean, albeit tiny.
Carpet and furnishings were not purchased in this century.

Love that we didn’t share walls with anyone and had a view of the water right out our door. Everyone was extremely friendly and inviting. I can’t wait to take a trip back with my kids.

Terrace by the Sea is a delightful hotel conveniently located to shops, restaurants, the beach and the Marginal Way. The front yard is plush with many chairs for relaxing and admiring the ocean view. Our room was sufficient and clean and there is plenty of parking. We would definitely stay here again!

Loved this hotel. Room had plenty of room. Nice view from the lawn of the I River and Ocean. Nice heated pool. Close to lots of restaurants and the Marginal Way walk path. Loved it.

Loved this cozy hotel. Breakfast on the patio was great. Lovely view. The room was massive. Lots of space and a nice balcony with a view.

wonderful place, had issues for a couple days with an electrical problem in our room only. they fixed it as soon as they could and compensated us generously.I will stay here again beautiful lawn with chairs and swing overlooking the ocean! They also had a wonderful breakfast buffet . So close to everything you can walk to beach shopping etc...

Very well located with clear sea view from hotel front terrace and lawn. Rooms very comfortable although many do not have a sea view. Staff exceedingly helpful and courteous. Spotless rooms. Good continental type breakfast. Highly recommend

The location and views are what your paying for.. been going to Ogunquit for 25 years and I never stayed downtown.. the rooms were very basic but clean.. I would definitely go again

We were here only one night but it was very enjoyable. My favorite thing might be the comfortable chairs on the lawn overlooking the river and ocean beachfront. Gorgeous view! The hotel was also in a great location in the center of town.

First i don’t hate the place or the hospitality. My review is the room. It was a tiny room, 6 feet from the reception desk. I can’t believe legally they can have his room it was so small and such in an awkward spot. If you’re a little bit on the heavy side, just saying you probably wouldn’t be able to use the bathroom comfortably. Shower, sink, etc. on the good side, it does have a nice view of the water and it’s right in town so you can walk to a lot of places.
