The hotel and my room were lovely as were all the staff, the only thing letting it down was the quality of the breakfast. I feel like there should have been a larger choice of fresh fruit and an overall better quality of food available. Apar

The staff are exceptional and the location is a 10-15 minute drive to the airport. Lots of quality restaurants nearby. Well be coming to stay here again!

Lovely hotel. Clean, recently renovated, super comfortable, conveniently located. Walk to countless restaurants, bars, etc. Five minute drive to Zakynthos town, and many great beaches within 5 to 20 minute drive.

The hotel was lovely! Room was great, spacious, clean and bed very comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very nice. I mostly enjoyed the large pool and there was plenty of sun lounges to enjoy by the pool. Thanks for a great stay :)

This hotel turned out to be better than we expected. The location couldn’t have been any more central for everything that Argassi has to offer. Nice chilled atmosphere with very friendly helpful staff. We would definitely stay here again

The hotel has recently had a refurb and its lovely, pool is on the smaller side, if full there won't be enough sun beds, rooms were nice, beds comfy, walk in shower nice & large, breakfast was good, restaurant out by the pool has a great variety of choice but slightly more expensive than others near by. Location is goid just up from the main area with plenty of bars, restaurants, also 5 minute walk from the sea front.

Lovely hotel, clean and modern and great location. The pool is nice and you have shops and restaurants all just a few minutes from the hotel. Breakfast is included and had good choice and we usually went for the Greek options : Feta, olives, cucumber, tomatoes, fresh bread and pastries and Greek Yoghurt with fresh fruit and honey. Hot items were available such as bacon, beans, sauasage etc... but these tended to just warm rather than hot. Also the "orange juice" was not fresh juice so we opted to keep juice in our room fridge. If you are looking for a good beach there isn't really one within walking distance. There is a free bus from town to Banana beach which is about 20 mins or so drive away and is suberb, with a fabulous beach bar. There are also car hire places in the immediate vicinity to get to some lovely spots on the island. The staff at the hotel were all friendly and efficient. The customer service given by receptionist Marie Elena was outstanding... she always made a point of smiling and waving, even i you were directly walking in front of the reception. The Palmyra restaurant is possibly a separate business to the hotel and unfortunately this was the only bad meal we had whilst in Greece. Also the restaurant constantly piped really bad 80's and 90's tunes into the pool area on a daily basis!!! I would definately recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Hotel in the middle of Argassi, close to restaurants and shops. Its very touristic. The hotel is fine. Nice swimmingpool, breakfast is good, personel is friendly. Beds are ok. Room is ok but a bit small. Rainshower could be better functioning. Parking lot for cars available.

Hotel was very clean and comfortable. I enjoyed my time here and would definitely come again.Plenty of shops, bars and places to eat nearby.

This hotel deserves to be a 4*. It’s lovely. There is a kettle and fridge in the room. The pool was never crowded with plenty of beds and umbrellas and also a shady area under a tree. The afternoon receptionist was utterly charming . She made me feel very special every day. Breakfast wasn’t fantastic but there was lots of choice and the Greek yoghurt and honey was lovely. Short walk to bars restaurants and the beach. I would definitely recommend this hotel. My room didn’t look over the pool but by the end of my week I thought that was a bonus. My side was quieter and there was a pretty view of the mountain. The cleaning ladies were also fab . Well done Hotel Palmyra I can honestly say I’ve stayed in a number of 5* hotels that aren’t up to the standards of this one.

In simple terms it was better than we initially thought however we thought it looked brilliant even before we arrived.

Lovely hotel in great location, hotel finished to a very high standard, staff were excellent and were more than happy help. Has everything you need to hand, pool was excellent with an outside bar/restaurant should you need food or drink. Only criticism the WiFi could be better. But apart from that very happy with our stay.

This was our 5th stay at the Palmyra and it was as good as ever. We were very impressed by the new reception and lounge area. The rooms are always spotlessly clean and towels changed regularly. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and it is nice to see the same smiling faces every year. There is plenty of room to hang and store clothes, and you can get a hairdryer and kettle from reception if you need them. I would recommend a pool view room and if possible on the higher floor when you can get a glimpse of the sea from your balcony. There are always plenty of sun loungers around the pool. Although the Palmyra is situated in the heart of Argassi, it is always quiet. There are lots of bars, restaurants and shops within walking distance. The beach at Argassi is very narrow, but you can get free buses to some beaches at Vasilikos. It is a great base to travel round the island and the Palmyra is a great good value place to stay.

Great hotel good location staff were very helpful and friendly and good choice for breakfast however small things stop it being a 5 no cushions on sunbed and my shower head wouldn't fit into wall fitting so had to have handheld showers bathrooms are very small and outdated but cleaned everyday with fresh towels . High ceilings and tiled floors also makes it echo so you do hear a lot of voices from corridors which when party goers come in at 3am can be noisy
