Dirty floors and bed kinda outdated don’t like the tv channels

The hotel was advertised as "pet friendly" but did not note a pet fee or extra charges of any kind for pets. When I arrived I was told they required a $30 CASH deposit, refundable on departure day after inspection showing NO pet damage. I told dthe desk agent that I was not happy with this since it wasn't noted online and I didn't carry cash. I had to go to an ATM and get cash. The next morning when I was ready for the inspection, I notified the desk agent and she slammed me with rude language telling me it was a NONREFUNDABLE FEE. When Ii told her about my experience the night before with the desk clerk, she told me that was not their policy and told me to leave. If there is sa pet fee, it should be clearly disclosed along with other parameters like "CASH required upon checkin" I am not objecting to a pet fee, but I'm strongly upset about the manner it was handled--first lack of website disclosure, then lying that it was a refundalbe deposit, then acting rudely when I asked for the deposit refund relatibe to NO pet damage. What a disturbing and dishonest experience. I would never recommend this establishment.

Staff was not freindly. Parking was limited. Pillows were about 50 years old.

Great location. The room was fairly spacious and the bed was comfy. Would definitely stay there again.

If you’re looking for a quiet, quaint place to stay this is it. Just so cozy. Traffic sucked getting out but what can ya do. Restaurants convient

Room was very clean, parking was tight.

The Adobe Inn is located on Highway 550 which provides great access into downtown and Purgatory resort. The motel is nicely updated and a good value.

You get what you pay for. Poor lighting, mattress needed replaced as you could feel the springs and the bathroom sink had several cracks in it. The staff was great.

Close to main street and the train

Dirty floors, walls and yes dirty bedding. Hairs in the sheets and human secretions and what appeared to be blood on the bedspread. I was asked to carry this filth to the front desk. I refused and they sent a housekeeper. Changed the bedding out and told me they would seek a discount for me. The next AM I went to front desk and spoke with the manager or perhaps owner, elderly lady. She was very rude. Called me a liar, yelled at me. Kept insisting nothing was on the blanket. I have pictures. It is gross!!

I arrived at 11:30pm to check-in, only to find out that the front desk closes at 11pm. I had to call a number, and someone walked me through how to get into my room (they left me a key under the mat). Building was not in a good condition; will not stay here again.

Friendly staff, nice hot tub, excellent value, mostly clean.

The hot water in our shower did not work properly, it was nuclear or cold, hard to adjust to what one wanted. The shampoo dispenser was empty as well. Our room had a kitchenette, with no dishes, pots, cutlery, nada. The TV was great, the location was nice, the bed was comfortable, our room was spacious.

The hotel is a decent place, and a fine place to stay inexpensively for a few nights, and on top of that is a five minute walk (or less) from the nearby the fabulous Animas river walking trail, which you can walk right into town.

Trying to get into our room was a challenge. Slipped the key card in, green light came, but door wouldn't open. Tried several times, finally went back to the office and told the desk clerk. He came to the door and tried it, then pushed it open with his shoulder. Being elderly, we were afraid to go for dinner for fear we wouldn't be able to open the door. Also, there was a nasty argument next door; then a barking dog. I would not recommend this hotel.

Staff was very friendly. Easy check in process. The inn is on a main street, so it has easy access to amenities. We have two C-PAP machines. Because, there was not too many electrical outlets in the room, be sure to bring an extension cord and a multi-plug unit.

Faucet in 103 leaked all over the vanity top. Hair dryer shot. Noisy AC unit and poor output. Your front counter clerk was professional and efficient. Great personality. This is our 4th motel night stay and we paid more for this nights stay and it was the poorest. I would not recommend this site to anyone.

Beautiful adobe inn with amazing staff.

Room and cleanliness are ok. However, air conditioners and other appliances are noisy to the point of the whole structure emitting a permanent hum. Street noise was also above average, and then there was the screaming cat all night! Not a pleasant experience.

Everything was fine for a cheaper room in the Durango area except for the black mold in the bathtub. It's older tile that needs to be updated. At least properly cleaned. Other than that it was good.

Very loud

The door does not lock, I have a video. The bathtub was dirty with dirt and hair in it. The mirror does not light up. The parking lot is tiny with very little room for our SUV.

Room was very large, full size kitchen (was not expecting that) very clean we really enjoyed our stay. Front desk gentleman was very professional and friendly

It's an older property that has been maintained.. the first issue was their Internet and Wi-Fi service was out for an unspecified time. The staff/ owners were friendly and upfront about the issue. The room had a refrigerator,microwave and an alarm clock. The bathroom fixtures were more than likely original. However the bed was stiff as a board, pillows were flat as pancakes. So, sleeping was a bit rough. Parking was tight, but good and the property had two ways to egress without getting onto the main road. Honestly, it was ok. It's a nice place, but not for the price point. I feel as though a reduction in rate should've been offered due to the lack of services.

Very nice older hotel . Conveniently located. Only drawback is very limited parking in hotel lot.

Hotel rooms were nice with a couple or so exceptions. The room we lodged in needs new beds. My back ached so bed after the two nights stay.
