Although, I didn't stay long... Clean quick and great room. I enjoyed my stay.

I was looking for an affordable overnight stay near the Avenir Center for a concert. This was it! I walked downtown to eat and saw my show and walked back. My room was clean. The house is a renovated Victorian, with new clean modern private bath. Other people were staying in the house, but did not hear them until morning. The hosts were friendly and showed people to their rooms and explained things. Ie lights, locks and kitchen. Pam M. Nova Scotia

The oriental couple that run the property are very kind and caring and go out of their way to make your stay an enjoyable one.I recommend paying the extra and staying for breakkfast as it is well worth it.The place has a charm of it's own.If I am ever back this way I will most definetly stay here again.

Very comfortable clean bed! I could tell the couple who owns this place works hard to make sure your needs are met and there are shared kitchen facilities. Bathroom was shared (but no one else was there), when we stayed, but it was clean and other rooms may not be shared. Very close and walkable to centre of downtown and the museum. Check-in was a firm 3pm, but do contact them before if need be, as no one may be at the property before that time.

First let me start by saying I mistakenly booked for one and not two person. The owner was very understanding and would not take the extra fee. The bed and breakfast is owned by a very sweet elderly couple. They are of Asian descent so we had a bit of a language barrier. The husband speaks no English. We had booked for 11 days. During those 11days our sheets were changed once and we were offered clean towels after three days. On day eight we had to ask for more clean towels. There is no housekeeping. The couple are well into their 80’s and have no way to keep up. We watched rooms change occupants with no cleaning in between. The owner still are worried about Covid so avoid contact at all cost. They have three separate houses and the only time we saw them was to bring new guest to their rooms. The community kitchen was filthy and never cleaned during our stay. She did ask us when she saw us if everything was alright. I guess we should have complained, but there was no way they could have cleaned those houses. I also felt bad to even ask. Like I said they are a very sweet couple. The houses are very old but I live in a house that is well over one years old but well maintained. I don’t have a problem with old and we understand that we were not going to be in the best neighborhood. I do expect housekeeping and fresh towels. I’m not writing this review to be mean, but I do think people deserve to know what they are getting into.

The owners were very nice and friendly.

It was a safe location, reasonably clean and cared for. I didn’t like that the door wasn’t big enough to prevent someone from peeking into the room from the hallway. (There’s nothing to bring someone to that part of the hallway if they’re not staying in that room, but the gap is big enough to see nearly the entire room.)

Glory Inn and its proprietors are charming and welcoming. Stayed with a friend for an overnight concert trip and not only is it a stones throw from everything you could want in Moncton (next to the Aberdeen Cultural Centre and a short walk from Capitol Theatre, Tide & Boar), it had a full kitchen and comfortable, clean rooms with lovely light and a garden to eat breakfast in! The check in process was easy and I appreciated the personal touches by the proprietors, who made my friend and I feel at home. Would stay again, and would recommend to any friend who is planning a visit to Moncton!

It was a nice quiet place to get away while still being close to all the amenities.

The pictures on the site are out dated. The exterior is in need of paint. The room was clean with an updated bathroom.

- Hosts were very friendly. - Building was old and dated. - Bed was comfortable and clean. - Breakfast consisted of eggs, toast, oranges and coffee or tea.

It was not clean - bathroom- toilet - urine on floor, not enough towels. Shampoo was watered dow.kitchen, counter was dirty, drying rack dirty, dead flys on counter. Dirty cupboards etc. Bedroom - very stained old, uncomfortable pillows. I could go on. The woman was sweet but very poor quality. Very disappointed and to be honest pissed off I should spend that on a place. Really should have been refunded. Although nothing surprises me anymore as I was in a 4star hotel and found mice droppings and someone's dirty socks. So no wonder why I'm doing a van conversion so I never have to stay in another place.

Place was very comfortable and hosts are very polite.recommemded

If you are looking for a more economic stay close to the downtown core, this is a good spot.

My overnight stay was great. The bed was very comfortable. It was quiet and a nice size room. The breakfast was delicious and well worth the money. I would go there again

Not clean dust on walls mold in shower dead spiders. Very cold. Lets just say would not recommend and will never go back. So cold we almost had to keep our coats on to sleep.

The hosts were nice. Took us about an hr to check in. It was not very clean at all. Its a place to lay your head. We canceled the breakfast when we checked in. I probably wouldn't stay here again.

Nice boutique place to stay. The hosts were very friendly and kind even though it was late in the evening before I arrived. The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable and cozy. I enjoyed my brief stay there. I will definitely stay there the next time I am in town. Price was excellent.

The photos were nice at least. The owner Di find some prescription medicine we forgot an was kind enough to keep it for pick up as we came back through Moncton.

Hosts were very welcoming and kind, however, property is very old. The entire building had an off smell and could use a deep cleaning. If you just need a place to sleep, this was fine - sheets and bed were clean. Location surrounding property is questionable but it is very conveniently located walking distance to downtown.

Staff was friendly and welcoming. They tried their best. They had a great garden at the back contains a lot of fruit trees, very refreshing to sit there and have a meal. However property is very old and not maintained very well. There was a funny smell all over the building, I had to open the window all night long. Kitchen and all the equipments inside was very old and seems not cleaned properly.I don’t think adding water to soaps and orange juices is a good way to do budget management, I think its is fooling the customers. Yes, it is budget friendly but I believe budget friendly travelers deserves to treat valuable as well.

My husband arrived in the morning, before check in, and asked to leave his bags. We are not travelling by car and he wanted to explore Moncton. The owner offered to give him the key to the room. He said that wasn’t necessary but she insisted. She gave him the key for a room with a bathroom in the hallway. I had booked a room with private bath. When he called me, I insisted he get a room with private bath. The owner argued that that would cost more—but that was the price of the room I had booked. She finally gave it to him “as a special favour”. The next morning we vacated the room and asked if we could leave our bags until our bus in the afternoon. We would have put them in the communal kitchen—at our own risk. The owner refused. She said we were difficult guests since my husband had checked in early and also wanted a special room. That is not what happened. I am cancelling the reservation I made to stay here at a later date.

The owners were friendly and hospitable. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel ....this isn't it....however, this is a clean comfortable stay for the price. We would certainly go back again. To the owners: extra pillows would be a plus in each room. Enjoyed our stay.

The rooms are delightful, and the facilities are good. The neighbourhood is perfect, within walking distance of an excellent ice cream shop and many interesting bars, restaurants and sights

The owners were helpful. The bed was comfortable with clean linen and toiletries in the bathroom. The kitchen cupboards and appliances need some cleaning.

Bed was clean and comfortable. Everything else was substandard. Also it is not clear in the listing that you could be sharing the bathroom and kitchen with up to 4 other people!
