The property is maintained sound. Calm and Quiet place. Loved the private beach and amenities there.

The place is very convenient and we can get access to parks and skiing very easily. The owners are very nice and kind, they refunded me one night since I booked for two nights but can only stay for one night. Highly recommend it and will come back in summer.

Loved view of Lake an wood burning stove inside cabin...was very hard to find...roads were not lite up even when we got to there main sign...if u wanted to go for sleigh ride etc...u had to go other locations..

We had a good relaxing weekend. Even though we were ineligible to enjoy the on-site amenities due to not being vaccinated, we had a great time. Check in and check out was easy.

The chalet we stayed in was outdated, need major renovation. plenty amenities on site and activities you can do.

Nice resort with a nice and private beach, staff were nice and they accommodated my EV charging which made getting there and back home a lot easier. Our cottage had a lot of flies inside like a dozen or so, they were a bit annoying. I would’ve wished that they had a way to get rid of them when the cottages are empty. Otherwise the view was amazing, nice activities. We took the cheaper chalet, rooms and bathroom were small and nothing fancy but does the job

Property was ok when we arrived cabin appeared to be fairly clean but as soon as we used shower the bathroom smelled sour We won't return

In April was quiet, easy check in, comfortable cottage, kitchen and bbq easy to use, great view of lake, Algonquin trails nearby (saw a moose), good stay.

BBQ on the deck. Small kitchen and dinning table. Small bedrooms too.

Just spent the weekend here and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We arrived in the dark and they made it very easy to get to our cabin. The cabin was very clean, lovely soft towels and all the utensils and gadgets were supplied. A little home away from home with a rustic feeling. The mornings were beautiful and quiet. The 3 deer that wandered up onto the beach was a peasant view with my morning coffee. A much apprecieated weekend away. Thank you !!

The scenic beauty around the property was the best !! The walking trails were a real treat. We did see a few deer's during our trail in much closer distance. We wanted to see how it does look in snow and are planning to revisit the place.

The place is great, the cottages had everything inside, the front door window could use a cover They were clean , but could use a bit of tlc

We had a wonderful time though it was a bit chilly and rainy. The location was near provincial parks where we went hiking and waterfall chasing. There are also enough things to do within the property. The cottage was clean and kitchen was fully equipped. We really had a very relaxing and memorable stay. Thank you Blue Water Acres!

The stay was just fabulous We were on a anniversary getaway looking for a place to relax and enjoy each other The beach area with walk out sand bottom was great and the docks were in great condition. Lots to do with tennis, kayaks, canoes, soccer area and trails as well as boating if you bring one The cottages had good amount of space with full kitchen and bath and a bbq right on your own deck Over all awesome time👍👍👍

Beautiful lakeside cabin with everything you need for a relaxing getaway! Can't wait to return. Clean, friendly staff and lots of amenities. We attended during provincial COVID-19 restrictions and you can tell special attention was paid. Wonderful!

Staff was kind and friendly. Amenities look old but cleanliness of all amenities was excellent! (Better than any other hotels) I’ve worried it might be cold inside of cottage but heating system was great so I didn’t use my extra blanket I took from home. Beach&Hot water! Big fridge& clean and new gas bbq. All kitchen appliances were ready. Indoor pool&sauna also was so clean. My family’s gonna come here next summer&fall again. It’s great for driving this area.

Amazing stay! My husband and i went up for a night for our anniversary. The cottages are perfect! Very clean, beds were comfortable, ours had a woodstove so we had the option of enjoying a night by the fire. Equiped with everything you need! Our cottage was lakeside so the view was spectacular. The resort has an indoor pool, whirlpool, games area, outdoor activities and community fire pit. You have access to canoes, kayaks, paddle boats, etc. There are trails to walk on and it is close enoigh to Algonquin Park and the town of Huntsville to wnjoy local amenities. I will definitely be going back again, hopefully in the summer with our kids so we can enjoy everything this charming resort has to offer.

Very nice place to spend a holiday.

We rented on of the Algonquin cottages and it was beautiful! We just wish it was warmer to be able to sit out and enjoy the deck/patio. It was very clean and had all the amenities that we could have needed. The property was also very nicely maintained and inviting. Since our stay was in October, we did not make use of the beach, but we really look forward to coming back some time in the summer with our kids, they would love it!!!

Great beach, great indoor pool & hot tub (for the rainy days), and the rental canoes / kyacks are in great shape. The place overall is well maintained, and the new cottages look great. However the 'traditional' cottages are on their way out (BW Acres moving to fractional ownership), and as such maintenance on these cabins is minimal. However they are very clean & livable; it's just that they aren't as fancy. Beds are a bit old / not the most comfortable. But not an issue for us at all. Loved the place & will be back (assuming they still do rentals in the future).

very pleasant stay! We lived in a traditional cottage facing the water. The room is super clean, that's what I love the most!
