We booked two rooms as we were visiting family.We had to change room 3 times out of 5 night stay as all the rooms were flooded with water droplets from air conditioning unit dripping near the door .Our first room window was hanging out of the latch every time we opened the door window opened coming out of latch such huge safety issues and I was holding with my hand then the receptionist came and locked that window again we moved room .The receptionist both ladies were very helpful and kind but I wouldn’t stay in this hotel as I never expected this very basic if I had known I would have booked elsewhere not ibis .i regularly book at ibis but this is very below standard and it’s not worth the money ,my son truly believe ibis has to refund some kind of compensation for all the inconvenience.

Great hotel for a budget. Very convenient to the train station and downtown Ludwigsburg. The staff is also VERY helpful if you don’t speak German. The only negative is that the air conditioning sometimes leaks condensation.

We enjoyed our stay at Ibis Ludwigsburg- it was really close to the train ststion and the price was affordable. The staff was friendly and our checking in/out was quick.

I booked a budget hotel, I am not expecting a four star.What I do however expect with a reasonably new hotel that they would have built to a reasonable standard, but the walls are wafer thin, somebody at Accor head office decided to save every single cent on building material. The man next door had a cough, and it was like he was staying in the same room. Also they did invest in heavy doors, which slam shut and move the furniture in your room and sale you up. Essentially from a hotel room you want a quiet environment, this hotel is noisy by design.Of all the hotel chains, I think Accor is the worst. When I was a platinum member, they didn't always read my request. This time they acknowledged my request and I was shocked that they had. Upon checking in I realized that they hadn't, and it took an age to find a suitable room, which of course wasn't available.The air con was a joke, it appears to be on one setting, no matter what you set it at, on/off, cool or hot.On the positive side the room was clean, but that's the only positive I can see.

Hotel was good with great service. Marked comfort lower as the bed was not very comfortable. Outdated spring mattress?

Outstanding. I recommend it strongly. Nice facilities but breakfast was ok

No laundry nearby and the hotel is not equipped with its own laundry. Good breakfast. It takes only 15 minutes to travel to Stuttgart, so it is a great bargain to stay in the hotel if you have something to do in Stuttgart.

Disappointing stay at this hotel. Stayed at a number of Ibis hotels but this wasn’t the best experience. 2 main problems; Hotel had no ironing facility either in the room or a dedicated ironing room in the hotel. Apparently they owned 1 iron but it was lent out somewhere and was not available at all during our 2 day stay. We asked multiple times. If you have a 100+ room hotel, you should either possess more than one iron, or have a dedicated ironing room with the iron available for use. We managed the first day with our ‘least creased’ clothes, but had to buy some new shirts for the second day. Not good enough when you are paying nearly 70 euros a night. Secondly, the shower in our room was broken. This caused inconvenience due to it only being discovered after unpacking etc. So we had to repack, leave the bags in reception, then return later for another room. The initial shower was also not clean, but I imagine that may be linked to the absence of water. It should have been picked up when the room was prepared though. I would not stay in this hotel in future.

A great Ibis Budget, great location and very nice room, basic but super comfortable and well done. Breakfast was good. Only gripe was that we were on motorbikes and there is no motorbike parking; some of the local car parks do not accept motorbikes, but we parked on the pavement around the corner... staff were not helpful in this regards with advice.

COLD, DAMP, AND NASTY. The room's thermostat was limited to prevent the guest from turning up the heat. The sheets and blankets were not clean and afflicted the guest with cold and allergy symptoms during the entire stay!

The room had a fecal odor so we asked the hotel staff and they came in and cleaned it up. Hotel staff were great! The shower was in the middle of the room so no privacy. Wifi was good. Bed was comfortable.
