Pleasant hotel, central location but quiet. Friendly staff. Good food in hotel restaurant. Bedroom very small but well equipped. Good price given location and time of year.

The staff were excellent, the hotel was very well located and generally really nice. The apartment room was great for a family, but was too warm. It could do with air conditioning. Also the toilet room wasn't at all pleasant, the floor had old soaked up urine around the toilet and smelt terrible, and the toilet and floor really need completely replacing. The shower is also badly placed under a sloping roof so we needed to kneel down to shower, and there is no way to stop water going all over the bathroom floor. The soap for the sink is also attached to the wall really high up which was impossible for children to reach so they had to ask help to wash their hands. Finally in a hotel it would be nice to have a small sink unit in the toilet room.
Otherwise, the beds and sofa were comfy, the fridge and sink were helpful, the restaurant and staff at the hotel were very very good, especially for dinner. We were expecting a bit more choice at breakfast (for example having hot food as well as cold), but it was adequate for one morning.
No one was around for early check out (we had to leave at 6:30am for the ferry) so we just had to leave the key.

A one night stay for work.
The room was very small. Also the noise of the kitchen staff putting bins out at 11pm could easily be heard.
Other than that it was nice with a good restaurant

Very noisy and the toilet room was tiny. Had to put the kettle on the floor to use it as there was no socket near the table, lack of tea/coffee.

400 year old hotel in the heart of Paris...what's not to love.

Classic old hotel right near the beach provided a restful night on a solo weekend during a 2-week business trip. Room was bright, clean and comfortable. Found a nice restaurant steps away and the restaurant in the hotel looked to have a nice menu.

The ladies on reception were very welcoming. Very elegant reception area . Our room was on the 2nd floor , winding staircase ( no lift ) , Room was clean , bright and modern . Shower in bath, separate toilet , wardrobe. No tea, coffee facilities, no air con , windows opening onto small balcony. Area near reception for drinks, coffee etc. Main dining room , white tablecloths, had dinner in the evening, service good, food good.

Stayed right on Juno Beach and did all of the Normandy Landing sites. Quaint provincial hotel with a good restaurant. The staff were delightful in dealing with a couple of language challenged American guys. A great time, great place, town, great people. Forget the tours. You experience so much more planning and driving on your own

Great location for Canadians visiting Jino beach. 5 min drive to Canadian Juno museum. Good dining room, muscles are yummy. Free parking. Rooms are small but comfortable. Recommended!

We came to see the Juno Beach museum, and this hotel is ideally suited to see the museum and to see the actual beach landing site.

We had a very Good and pleasant stay at HdP in Courseulles-Sur-Mer. Location is fantastic and so is the staff. The Hotel is charming and sufficient comfortable but it is also somewhat “old”

Lovely location and reasonable breakfast. No smoke alarm in room and room was at the top of 2 flights of twisting narrow stairs. Overall the room was shabby and in need of refurbishment. Mould around window.

It was a great stay! Super friendly staff, food was delicious and its a few steps away from the beach. Good to know: Its around 2hrs away from Mount St Michel so if you come from Paris you can drive here and then continue to the Mount.

We booked a room with two beds and they gave it away. They moved a bed that was basically a cot into what we were told was the only available room. It was uncomfortable and unstable. Halls were filthy and poorly lit. The only good thing was the location near the Juno Beach Centre and restaurants. Look elsewhere.

They have absolutely great staff, a great location Estella to food and convenient to Juno Beach. Just a reminder like many other European hotels there isn’t an elevator.

We absolutely loved this Hotel by the Beach. Close to Ohama Beach/Normandy. Would definitely return to this beautiful Hotel.
The Staff was very friendly, we also enjoyed sitting outside in the Restaurant in the evening to enjoy some drinks.
It was a dream come true for us

It is right overlooking Juno beach on the main street. The hotel predates WWII and gives a sense of what it would have been like to visit this beach town then. There is a good restaurant with outdoor seating attached to the hotel. Can't be beat for visiting Juno beach and walking in the path of the men who came on D-Day.

The hotel was definitely aged and historic. No elevator, Nd no one offered to carry your suitcase. No air conditioning, or even a fan to move the air.
Restaurant was good if you were having drinks but when you ordered food you waited a long time. The food was ok... The staff had no staff member fully versed in English. I know were in another country, but a tourist spot touting Canadians should offer English.
It was one night we survived, I wouldn"t stay more than one night.

Great location, close to the Canadian Juno beach centre. Property is a bit older but well maintained and clean.
Lots of free parking across the street and the breakfast offered was great.
I would recommend this hotel especially to anyone interested in visiting the area to see the Canadian D day locations.
