We love this place, the owners are extremely hospitable and make us feel at home the moment we arrived. Very lovely house,accomodations and ground are spacious and peaceful. One night was not nearly enought. Jimena was so nice to talk to,with great conversation and recommendations. Very friendly. We cant wait to go back.

This hotel has the perfect Modern & Colonial feel to it. Absolutely relaxing with the water fountain in the courtyard. 100% recommended, we will be back soon because we loved Casa Terra and Villa de Leyva!!!

Although there are many hotels and places to stay in Villa de Leyva, Casa Terra is a very quiet and well kept secret. It has spacious and comfortable rooms with beautiful decoration and everything is done with care so you feel that you are really in a privileged spot of this village. The staff are knowledgeable about the area and they are keen to help out with every single detail of your stay. Breakfast was beautifully served in the small outdoor patio so you get to enjoy the fantastic weather of this place from the moment you wake up.

Beautiful property if you want to hang out and relax between site visits. Owners and employees were particularly friendly and professional and made every effort to make our stay comfortable.

It was a very relaxing experience but the best was that the owner gave excellent recommendations about what to do and where to go for fun and restaurants

Great boutique accomodation within walking distance of main square, shops and restaurants. Hosts are lovely and recommend places to eat in town. Rooms were well appointed and immaculate in presentation, hotel has lovely gardens and an outside breakfast area.

Excelente lugar. Ximena y Alvaro son muy atentos, nos dieron muy buenas recomendaciones de adonde ir y que hacer en la zona, hasta Mia ( el perro ) es amable en este lugar. Definitivamente lo recomiendo.

Great location 2 blocks from Plaza Mayor, the owner Ximena is so PASSIONATE , always ready to meet your needs with great attention to detail.. Personalized, high quality service with a lot of love. She makes you feel at home as a friend, not a customer . Stayed in Terracota Room -2nd Floor, Great for family with two rooms - master bedroom and twin room with an adjoining bathroom . Spotless, immaculate beds with down comforters, strong rain shower water pressure. The place doesn’t need air conditioning us it’s not true. And mosquito free since it’s high altitude.Breakfast is in the courtyard with a fountain in the middle. It’s so filling,- set menu includes yogurt with granola and fresh fruit. A 100% natural fruit juice of your choice ;we had the sugar beets, Blackberry with ginger and other antioxidants followed by a variety of omelettes. A basket of pastries including the diabetic friendly quinoa bread and homemade jams. Here you get the taste of the finest Colombian coffee available-made in Limited edition direct from the farmer. We bought 6 bags! Ximena gives lots of little extras- example, as I was browsing the book of her husband (Colombia national parks) at the living room, she makes effort in turning on music to add to the atmosphere. Highly recommend

What an amazing place to stay. I wouldn’t know where to start raving about the beauty, serenity and customer service of Casa Terra. Ximena and Alvaro are incredible hosts, with exquisite taste and have remodeled a jewel in Villa de Leyva. They also provided us with unique contacts in and around Villa de Leyva that made our trip even more fascinating. The location is perfect - within walking distance of historical sites and great restaurants. The house is a lovely restored Spanish colonial. Breakfast was wonderful. I would come back many times without thinking twice. Do not look anywhere else - you cannot beat the value for this price.

We stayed two nights in this blissful hotel. Ximena & Alvaro have created the perfect place to stay in Villa de Leyva. The location is great and very close to the Plaza Mayor. Breakfast is amazing and rooms are comfortable. It is the perfect place to stay and one of the most wonderful B&Bs ever.

This is a lovely refuge of quiet and understatement in the middle of this cobblestoned historic town. The owners/hosts, sophisticated transplants from Bogota, are charming and helpful and have created a true "boutique" experience. Small, personal and designed to create comfort, this is a real gem. We highly recommend staying here.
