The hotel is great. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and neat.
And only one thing is disappointing - the night club in the neighborhood will not allow you to sleep until 5AM. Bring your earplugs.

Positives:
- The staff was friendly.
- The swimming pool was beautiful and clean.
Negatives :
- The hotel room had a strong sewage smell, like rotten broccoli. Despite the staff's efforts to mask the odor, it kept coming back.
- The hotel is located in the Gumbert area, which feels like an open-air nightclub. The music doesn't stop until around 4 AM, and it is veeery loud. This can be problematic, especially on nights before an early flight (this isn't directly the hotel's fault, but it's something to be aware of before booking in this area).
- The bed was uneven.
-The overall condition of the room was subpar, with weak shower pressure, a faulty shower, and towels that weren’t replaced.
Conclusion:
Room 202 needs to be refurbished.

This is a family run hotel. The owner and his partner are very personable even sharing his mobile to contact if we have issues. We were in room 201 which had a fantastic sea view. The room was well appointed with good air conditioning and fridge. There was tea making facilities but no kettle. Shower was excellent as was the cleaners. The room is a little tired but generally it was pleasant. The breakfast was a Turkish breakfast which was plentiful and fresh. The pool is really the hotels best feature along with the great staff, for whom nothing is too much trouble. The major downside is the location next to major nightclubs which blast out very loud music until 4am. If you are in Gumbet to party this is a great location, not so much if that isn’t your thing. It’s very loud and it’s all night There is a great restaurant 100 yards to the left if you don’t fancy the climb back into town.

The people who manage the hotel are wonderful, i asked for a early check-in they accommodated me the hotel itself is very clean, although the rooms can get a little more attention but overall it’s good. The club noise is not that big of a problem if you have earplugs, Inshort it was a wonderful stay (you are getting your money’s worth)

Really, I made a good choice of a hotel. The Expedia points also had an influence that provided a discount.
Normally, Gumbet in the summer is a youngsters paradise! This time of the year not so "musically" load, just a slice of music in the distance!

The music starts around 9pm and ends at 2am but there's no soundproofing that you feel like you are in the nightclub itself - we couldn't sleep until the music was turned off by the club's nearby. Angry that hotels.com advertise this and don't mention the noise that you will endure and surprised of the 10/10 reviews (sound fake?)

Our stay here was phenomenal! To begin, the staff were amenable to us shifting around the dates of our reservation as our prior lodging was terrible and we wanted to move on as quickly as possible. Additionally, we ended up having a friend that had to stay with us due to flight issues and Nes (the manager) not only didn’t charge us extra for having an extra guest but she also upgraded our rooms to accommodate us. Obviously she did not need to do that and we cannot express how happy we are with this. She also took the time to provide us with several nightlife and food recommendations which were stellar. Furthermore, the amenities were great. The pool area was clean with a great view, breakfast was nice, and the rooms were in excellent condition. I would definitely recommend staying here to friends and family

the welcome at the reception of the hotel manager was very friendly. I was kindly given an upgrade to a great room with a wonderful view over gumbet. Furthermore, she was always ready to help and helped me book the ferry to Datca. i received detailed tips on how to continue my journey. this is how you feel very well looked after in an accommodation! many thanks to the hotel gumbet, i would be happy to recommend it to others.

I booked this hotel on Expedia over the Turkish Eid holiday weekend. I was charged $500 per night for a room. When I arrived for check-in, the front desk told me that the hotel is fully booked but that we could have a spare room at the top floor (No elevator). This room was apparently the owner's personal room and had his personal belongings in it. The room did not have a working phone, or a functioning air conditioner. Anytime I wanted anything I had to climb down several flights of stairs to ask the front desk. The average rate of this hotel is usually about $30/night which is exactly what it's worth. The music from the nightclub was so loud, I was never able to sleep all night.
