The staff who work at Mr. Tucan Hotel are all great and the hotel is within easy walking distance of everything in the West End. I enjoyed the breakfasts that were included. It was nice having a coffee shop right next door as well as the outdoor common area. The AC worked well and the bed was comfortable. My only criticisms are that there are relatively few electrical outlets and I would prefer to have some drawers for clothing rather than just shelves.

Nice hotel in West End staff is really nice

Had a noisy experience, someone walking on the phone right by my room door. Hard to find someone to open rear gate for parking. Got an upgraded room and had no hot water. Not very happy with my experience, doubt ill be staying there ever again.

Mr Tucan hotel is a hotel smack dab in the middle of the strip of West Bay with the Beach just feet away and an attatched restaurant. The staff is friendly and welcoming. There are many restaurants nearby as well souvenir shops

Love the location! right across the street from the beach. Staff and security were all nice, friendly and very tentative. Will definitely go back.

All the workers were so polite and go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. The location is very convenient. Definitely would recommend staying here if you ever get the chance!!

Mr Toucan is a fantastic hotel. It is a modern facility in aperfect location. The best part are the helpful staff. They go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. This hotel comes with breakfast and free drinking water. I will definitely stay there next time. While I didn't need it, it has free parking on premises.

Everything and everybody was wonderful! It's really nice that you are within walking distance to everything you might need or want. If needed, a cab is right there. This place is amazing!

Conveniently located, out the door close to all West End has to offer. Room was very clean and comfortable, would definitely stay here again. Coffee shop on the 1st floor a definite plus. The 2nd floor terrace is a great place to hang out in the evening or even during the day if you don't want to wander down to the beach. We rented a car and parking was no problem.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Mr. Tucan's very much! We were there for 11 days and can't wait to return. We loved the staff. The breakfasts and coffee were amazing! I highly recommend a stay there. It is one of the best locations at West End!

All in all Mr. Tucan is a decent hotel and a good value for someone looking to visit Roatan. The staff is great and the breakfast is really good, albeit limited choices. It can get really noisy though. I mean REALLY noisy. On Fridays and Saturdays it can go into the morning hours. The really nice open area on the 2nd floor is a nice place to sit and enjoy the view (great views from here). Again, some people use this area to stay up late and party till late into the night. We had a room in this area and it made it very difficult to get any sleep. People drink a little too much, laugh, cuss, and raise their voices to an extreme. It would be a good idea for there to be some kind of reasonable time to quiet down this area for the benefit of all guests. One last thing, the beds and pillows can be a little tough to get comfortable on for some. Other than that, the hotel has a great central location in West End with lots of eating and entertainment options.

Perfect location with amazing breakfast. Clean with air conditioning.

This was the perfect place for us, only a two minute walk on the beach to Roatan Divers, our favorite dive center in Roatan. The staff at Mr. Tucan were wonderful. They were all helpful and friendly. We enjoyed getting to know some of them. Our room was just right for us with a nice view of the ocean. We are thankful for the housekeepers who did such a great job while we were there. We also ate a lot at the cafe and enjoyed the breakfasts and lunches. We really appreciated the free beach towel and chair use, and the bottled water! It was quiet at night and the beds and pillows were comfortable, which is a big deal for me. Next time we visit West End, we will definitely return to Mr. Tucan.

Friendly staff … especially David, he was above and beyond … and walked the extra mile to help & assist. Location is convenient and facilities comfortable. We would stay again there, and recommend this hotel.

Great little hotel, right on the Beach front Good rooms friendly personal always happy to help. Stayed there on a dive vacation and all dive shops are within 5 min walk.

First time going to Roatan and heard great things about Mr. Tucan hotel. The hotel is on the west end and it’s near a lot of very good restaurants/bars and about a 10 minute drive to west bay. The beach is literally right across the hotel. The staff were very accommodating. I told them my shower was leaking and that I didn’t have shower curtains, they fixed it in a short amount of time and also let me check out at 1 with no extra charge. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone vacationing in roatan.

This is a nice property for the money. It’s not the ritz Carlton but you are not paying ritz prices. The restaurant is great and the staff is very friendly. The shirts at the gift shop are some of the cheapest on the island.

From the time we flew in until the time we left, the staff was incredible! We arrived early, like around 0900, and they let us keep our bags in the reception area until we were able to check in at 1300. They helped get us in contact with Henry with the catamaran boat! I highly recommend him too! The rooms were clean, the food was good at the bean crazy for breakfast. Highly recommend!

The staff hospitality and friendliness was outstanding. They were also very accommodating.

The gentleman handling beach chairs was super helpful. The young lady at the reception desk was unfriendly and unavailable most of the time.

Location was great. Beach is just across the street. Approximately 30 yards from the Hotel entrance. Great snorkeling from the Beach. Walking distance to shopping, West End restaurants, and water taxis. Nice roof top lounging area that has beachfront view with table and chairs, sofa and loungers. Nice area to meet and talk with other guests. Felt very safe here. Hotel has security. Would stay here again!

We stayed at Mr. Tucan during our 1st trip to Roatan. The staff was wonderful! Included in our stay was breakfast at the Coffee Bean which was great. During the weekend it gets pretty loud on the main road in front of the hotel but this didn’t bother us a bit as we enjoyed watching all of the festivities from the balcony. Our room was quaint, cool and very clean! We will ABSOLUTELY stay here again and highly recommend it to others!
