Absolutely a beautiful hotel to stay at. The service was amazing and all the staff was so friendly and welcoming.

The distances between villas and lobby is far and can not be walked due to steep roads. you have to organise a hotel car to pick you up from villa to lobby and vice virsa every time as taxies are not allowed to drop you off to the villa. Very inconvenience when you travel as a family. Rooms are quite avaragr in size not as seen on photos. A bit old as well.

I liked my stay at Wyndham Grand Phuket Kalim Bay a lot. The front desk area is small and was crowded when I first checked in. In my opinion, it didn't give a great first impression but the staff were very nice and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I've had in a hotel to be included as part of my room price. The room was great with an awesome view of Kalim Bay. The hotel is oddly laid out with various buildings and levels but I didn't mind it. Oh, and location, location! It's just a few minutes from the beach and town of town Patong. A huge plus! Overall I recommend this hotel.

Need sometime to wait for the transfer car. The room bell not loud enough so can’t open the door for room services on time.

Checking in was much more difficult than it needed to be. We had to fill out multiple pages of information before being asked for more money just to get our room key. Thankfully it was refundable but it would have been nice to know since we needed to withdraw more cash. Checking out was also frustrating as our flight didn’t leave from Phuket until 10 pm and the latest they could give us was 1pm. The bathrooms were also very small and the water pressure and temperature was inconsistent. They were also trying to sell us on their membership. They called our room multiple times(once while we were still sleeping) and then asked us to come see them at the front so they could try to convince us to pay more money for benefits we didn’t need.

Stayed here for 4 nights and had a very amazing experience. I informed the hotel that I would be there celebrating my birthday and anniversary and walking into the room at check in they had a very nice setup for us and delivered a desert! The pool was very nice, they have a good happy hour where it’s buy 1 drink get 1 free. Gym was nice and clean. Food was good. Location is about a 5-15 min drive to Patong depending on traffic. Walked there in 1 hour. Viewpoint cafe was down the road 5 min walk. If we couldn’t find a grab or bolt they called a taxi for us. Staff were all very kind! On our last night our AC and power stopped working and they put us in a villa suite which was really nice. I had an amazing stay here

Stayed here for 5 nights, great location and hotel. Staff friendly and helpful in booking day trips. Great location and facilities. Super comfy bed! Would stay here again.

The hotel was amazing, the room was quite spacious and clean, the staff were nice. The bar and restaurant were also quite good. Only small issue was that the hotel is a bit far from the beach area but again it's a cliff side resort, so it is expected to be far from beach.

Check-in took like 30 minutes and shouldn’t have been so long and complicated. Did not give a tour of property a had to find everything on our own and its large and on a hill and tough to navigate. Room was kind of dirty - sticky floor, felt not sanitary but clean enough I suppose. Service at restaurant was terrible - took forever to order, get food and waitress disappeared. We never got our appetizer and they messed up our order - mind you we were 1 of 2 diners at the time! They did comp our meal but still shouldnt be so difficult. The food quality is NOT good. The property is not convenient - there is a shuttle to patong you have to pay for and should be free - we tried to find it to go back from Patong but it never came at the time it was supposed to and had to take a cab. The bed was hard and not comfortable. The AC was always sooooo cold and hard to adjust. The pool in our room was freezing we didnt even use because it was so cold. When we left at 430am for a sunrise boat tour there was no one at the front desk or security at the front gate which was alarming from a safety perspective. The only redeeming things were the main pool with the bar which had a fantastic view and the reception bar for drinks during sunset was beautiful. Do not recommend. Would have rather paid much more money for a nicer safer place with better service.

we had an amazing stay for our honeymoon

We really enjoyed our 14 day stay at the hotel. The location and view from the room and pool is incredible and the staff is extremely helpful and service minded. The restaurant/room service and breakfast buffet is decent, but not Great. However the pricing of both is very reasonsble so its a good way to get a good cheap dinner, but dont expect a gourmet experience.

You have to take a shuttle just to get to breakfast if not on the top level. They charge 100 bhat to and from the beach (for such little money why not include in price of the room?) overall very clean and safe but everything is also a bit inconvenient. The app sent us an offer for 600 bhat bucket of beers until 6PM we arrived at 5PM and we’re told the bucket wasn’t available. After speaking to our host only then did a manager get involved and got the staff to bring us the bucket. I would say the only nice thing is the breakfast and view while eating. Won’t stay again.

Staffs and service is great. The tower we stayed (tower B) doesn’t seem like a 5 star hotel. We had to walk so far and take two different elevators to get to our room. They left empty rooms open with extra beds and it seems they used those empty room as a storage. No lights in the hallway at night. The hotel looks like a haunted hotel. We were scared to even get out of the room at night time. Food at the buffet was ok a bit overpriced. You can find street food not far from the hotel that cheaper and taste better. The hotel located in the corner of the road and no staff helping people or cars to turn in like other hotels on the same street. But they have staffs available to drive guests up to the other lobby up top 24/7. For safety, I would put someone in front of the hotel instead.

I don’t have enough words to rate Wyndham Grand. I mean everything down to the staff was beyond 10/10. Everyone was SO nice and accommodating but that’s what you get in Thailand. The hospitality of everyone is beyond words. Our room was perfect, the view, the shuttle to take you to Patong Beach and Central was so easily accessible. We felt more than safe where we were at. I just can’t rate this place enough because honestly, if I could, I’d give this place and their kind, friendly staff 10 stars. Literally so perfect. & their spa? Omg so wonderful. Recommend eating at the upstairs restaurant, get their breakfast buffet along with your stay and do the massage packages. You won’t regret a thing. Shout out to Porn, the front desk office manager, our driver who picked us up from the airport, and of course Kimchi who was one of our shuttle drivers we were lucky enough to get a few times we took the shuttle. Honestly just everyone there deserves raises and more.
