This low budget hotel is ideally located for a stop over or as a base to explore the Auvergne region (Puy de Dôme, Mont-Dore,…). The hotel is being run by a very friendly couple. There are several restaurants in walking distance (I can recommend the ‘Régent Bistro’). There is even a Lidl supermarket nearby. Although there is a busy road behind the hotel, the traffic noise is very, very minimal. The room was small, but very clean and comfortable. The tiny bathroom was also well maintained. The continental breakfast (6,90 Euro) was of high quality. This was one of the best low budget hotel I have stayed in. Overall: excellent value for money.

Check in was fantastic. The room was comfortable and exactly what we needed for the night. Check out was a bit different. I did not book in breakfast on check in as I needed to check if my husband wanted it, and I had asked if I could book it in in the morning. I was told yes. Upon arriving downstairs in the morning I was confronted by a negative reaction to buying breakfast so late. It was allowed because extra croissants were bought... Overall felt very awkward. So moral to the story, book in breakfast early!

After asking why the room wasnt cooling down to the advised 22 deg, was told dont worry it would while i was out for dinner. lt cooled to 24deg, which in itself not a problem due to the temperature outside. What wasnt expected is the it turned off just after 2200 and would come on again, made for a unpleasant nights NON sleep.

Very pleasant reception. Comfortable bed. Reasonably priced. On site parking readily available.

Very good service provided by their staff. Well located and parking spot at no extra cost. Breakfast was good. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

A great find for an overnight stop on route to South of France or Spain. Just off the A75 easy to find, clean comfortable rooms. Friendly staff on reception who spoke English. Would definitely book this hotel again.

This is a great budget hotel, recently refurbished and still new and shiny. Staff are wonderful and its great for a stay-over en-route to Spain. The area has a lot of hotels and I would say that this is one of the best. The air-con was very welcome although very noisy - it clicked on and off during the night which was the reason for my overall score of 4 not 5. The location is great in that it is close to the motorway, easy to find and doesnt take you out of your way. They are a number of local restaurants for which there is a plethora of discount vouchers available in reception. We told the very friendly receptionist what we were looking for and she recommended the one she thought we would enjoy the most and gave us directions. At the end of the day though you are staying on a business park so there are no lovely views and the ever present sound of traffic is a necessary evil. On arrival we were presented with a code which let us into the car-park (gates close at 9.30pm), the hotel and our room. The room was not large but had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was lovely (although a little cramped) with lots of hot water and the towels were just as they should be. We didnt have breakfast as had an early start but were certainly well rested. The room was very quite except for noise through t he door. When anybody walked past the squeak of their shoes made it sound as though they were in the room with us, not a huge problem.
