HGI Lompoc is probably the nicest hotel in Lompoc.

The lights in the room are too few, very dim, not bright enough at all, not even a table is enough and there are few bathroom utensils. Didn't even provide hand soap. The suite we booked as a family didn't have a door...
When checking out, the employee had a very average attitude and was indifferent,not proactively greeting the customer.
Advantage：
Dog friendly hotel and reasonable charge.
The location of the hotel is very good, with many restaurants and shopping malls nearby. There is a Walmart nearby, which is very convenient.

Does not feel safe outside at night. Worried about our traveling car filled with family gear all night. So many homeless lurking around the parking lot and building. Hotel keeps its front doors locked at night because of it’s such a problem. Sad this is what you get for nearly $300 a night. Basic motel rooms and amenities.

No complimentary breakfast and our room was on the 2nd floor where the pools were and we tried to sleep at 9:00pm and people were so loud down there. AC made noise at night so loud that we have to turned it off in order to sleep.

The staff was nice and I appreciated that there was a restaurant in the hotel even though I didn't get to partake but nice to have. The cleanliness of my bathroom specifically is the only thing I had an issue with. Other than that, it was fine and I really appreciate it having a microwave and fridge. Please don't change that.

First time staying here . The staff was amazing . Especially the receptionist sky . We went to dine at the eatery and Ari was awesome . Will definitely come back . Customer service was 100/10 .

Staff and service rooms don’t have a courtesy water not included breakfast, I been charged double 1 night, and when I request answer staff just expect me to wait money back after 10 days or call back,

Really nice and clean hotel. Rooms are large and new. I did not feel suffocated the by room cause it had a lot of space for storage and to walk around. Staff were nice and helpful. Lobby was beautiful, new, and clean.
The only issue is the area... before I even parked my car, I was followed by a man on his bike that went in and out of the hotel lobby and around the parking lot while I was trying to park my car. Made for an uncomfortable start to our stay at this hotel. Staff should do more to deter events like this from happening and to protect their guests.
