Nice, rustic hotel just far enough out of town to be extra quiet, but close enough to all of the sites. Matt at the front desk was very helpful especially in planning my photographic locations.

A very enjoyable hike is accessed right on the property. The woodsy path goes up a small hill with a view of the lake. The room itself was nothing special, a bit pricy for the condition....but that is the going rate for this area. It and other similar properties were sold out. If available, I would suggest getting the top floor as you could hear every footstep of occupants above.The hike after a long drive made it worth it. Also, the woman at he reception was very friendly and welcoming.

Check in/out was very quick and easy. Room had 2 beds, full bathroom, mini fridge, microwave, desk, and AC. Was a very quiet area but close to what I needed it for. Only stayed one night but had a good experience :)

A very good value for this area, that has limited accommodations. The one reservation was the sound proofing between rooms. We could hear loud talking and a TV after 10 PM next door and opted for cotton balls in our ears.

Great hospitality and a feeling of welcomeness. This property is close to hiking, Moosehead Lake, downtown Greenville and the Katadin.

This property was very neatly and thoughtfully kept up. The two owners were themselves working there both in the business end and the housekeeping -- which was reflected in the quality. I hope to have another opportunity to stay here.

Excellent hotel! The room had a cozy outdoor feel and was extremely clean - bed and pillows were comfy. And Brad at the front desk was excellent - so helpful with sharing info on the area (grocery stores, restaurants, etc).

This is a UNIQUE place, unlike the Hilton and Marriott places I usually frequent (I’m very sure that those and similar hotels are NOT in this area!!).
Moosehead Lake is beautiful in that “timeless” way, and this place is a welcome throwback to family vacations in 1950-60’s, and I’m glad to have found it.. and I’ve extended my stay !!

My room was very dated but it was very clean. The bed mattresses are very old so comfort was great. My biggest issue was the walls are paper this and you can hear everything from your neighbors. I do mean everything.
