The stay was mostly good. The only drawback was there were no hooks near the shower to place a towel etc.

Gecko lodge was a great place to stay. The hostess and staff were just wonderful. The room was great, clean and most of all the bed was really comfy and beautiful sheets. We will definitely return to Gecko Lodge

Clean and modern facilities. Nice breakfast organised by the wonderful owners. Kangaroos hopping around in the parks nearby! Very cool!

Absolutely loved everything about the property. It was immaculately clean…spotless in fact!! It was very quiet and comfortable. Sha, our host, was lovely…very personable and nothing was too much trouble for her. We arrived to freshly baked muffins and on our second day Sha hand delivered freshly baked carrot cake to our door - amazing!! There was also a selection of chocolates available and complimentary port for an after dinner treat. Breakfast was delicious…fresh fruit, a variety of cereals, multiple coffee and tea choices and a variety of home cooked breads/toast and spreads. Thank you Sha for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable. A definite 5 star experience!!

Thoughtfully appointed, spotlessly clean, very comfortable. Sha is an absolutely wonderful host. Breakfast is fresh and substantial. A fantastic balance between generous service and privacy. Plenty to do in and around Kalbarri. The best Australian B&B we’ve ever stayed in. You’d be bonkers to stay anywhere else.

We spent 2 nights in Gecko Lodge and Sha was the most kind and amazing host who went out of her way to make our stay as fantastic as possible - even to the extent of giving lots of tips on where the see the local emus! (In the end we actually had them in the middle of the road as we were leaving town!)
We hope to go back there again - comfortable bed, clean and spacious apartments, good breakfast and amazing friendly hosts that made our stay very special, Would highly recommend!

Service by the staff was absolutely superb. Attentive, eager to help and provide for all the clients, helpful, knowledgeable and extremely polite. Breakfast is included and was always good, Plentiful and fresh. If we needed milk or anything for our room it was always available. We were also very impressed with the cleanliness of the property and the rooms and shower especially .

Our stay in Kalbarri was enhanced by the exceptional service from Gecko Lodge. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were a great start - fruit salad made individually with every type of fruit imaginable. Rooms were spacious and well equiped for a couple. Afternoon tea with home baked cakes was a bonus between National Park walks and dinner. Kalbarri is amazing and would recommend Gecko Lodge as a great base for any visitor.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Kalbarri and Gecko Lodge. Room was very comfortable, breakfast was excellent and hosts were super friendly. Very close to some walking tracks along the cliffs. Would definitely recommend.

The hosts Paul and Linley were excellent to deal with and very friendly. Breakfasts were superb. Nice little pool to cool off in. I would recommend this accommodation to everyone.

Our hosts were lovely. The situation was perfect, a couple of minutes walk down to restaurants. Muffins and evening glass of port were nice extra.

Great stay at Gecko Lodge. Our hosts were very helpful and informative and gave us a warm welcome. The unit was clean, cosy and well appointed, everything as wished for. Breakfasts were excellent (yummm thanks). Location is excellent and near to the local stores, beach, etc. We will certainly stay at Gecko Lodge again when back in Kalbarri

Was such a great place to stay. The owners were extremely accommodating and helpful offering tips on things to do and loaning is equipment to use for activities. There were always delicious snacks and treats around the place to take if you were hungry and the breakfast was amazing. I would recommend this place to stay for anyone going to Kalbarri and will definitely be returning in the future!!

A great stay at the RAC Resort at Monkey Mia, well worth the trip up from Perth (but stop off in Kalbarri on the way up and Geraldton on the way back down) with all the things to see.
