Although the staff/owners were very friendly the property itself was very misleading. The trailer that was listed as a cottage needed a lot of repairs. There was an area in the kitchen that when you stepped on it it sunk in. There was an area by the door where the flooring was coming up. There was a spot on the deck right outside the sliding glass door where it was rotted through creating a hazard that was covered up by a rubber mat. Most of the blinds were damaged and needed replaced. They listed as part of their amenities that there was laundry facilities but neglected to tell you that you needed to pay for your laundry. In the laundry area, there were only 2 working washers and 1 running dryer, however the dryer didn’t dry anything really and we had to hang dry our clothing back at the trailer. The paper that was given to us upon check didn’t communicate the same things that were posted on their buildings. I will say that the view was beautiful and that the residents and all the people staying there were extremely friendly. But overall there is a lot of things that need to repaired there before I would ever consider staying there again let alone recommend somebody staying there.

There is about 12 inches of space to move around all sides of queen size bed so a little cramped in the bedroom but otherwise a comfortable bed.We stayed there as a convenience to visit nearby relatives but for the price we might look elsewhere next time.Very nice hosts.

This place is dirty! Nothing was cleaned from dirty floors and baseboards to cobwebs and dirt on the walls. This is not an exaggeration.

The woman who checked us in was very friendly and courteous and we appreciated that.Then, we got to our accommodations & to say the least... we were a bit surprised. The property is advertised as a cabin but it is actually a single wide mobile home. It is a pretty small space with a bedroom, bathroom, living room area & kitchen area. When we first walked in, the place smelled like dead fish. Our first impression of the space is that everything needs a thorough cleaning. A couple examples of this are when we grabbed an extra pillow from the linen closet, the pillow protector had blood and a hair on it. The refrigerator door is covered in rust spots, the walls are dirty and marked and the carpet in the bedroom is disgusting! I told my husband that I would have to get into the mindset of camping because this place is one step above tent camping. I do have to say that the views out of the windows are breathtaking. Where this place is situated is so beautiful! I would love to stay here again if I was assured that everything had been cleaned top to bottom.

It was bay view and you could walk down only a few feet to fish or crab or just relax

The pictures on Expedia are nothing like the reality. They had us put towels and sheets in a bag To be washed, and they never came by and got them. No Tv or a/c. The sliding glass door had no lock. The cabin was much smaller than appeared and run down. Definately not staying here again

the property is located in a beautiful marina, quiet and peaceful. there seems to be year round residents, and they are quiet, but not friendly. it was a great place for peace and quiet. I was not impressed with the check in, there is no one at the booth and you need to call the number listed so the owner comes out to check you in. its okay if you are from the US and your plan is nationwide, but we were from Canada, so making that call cost me roaming charges as I did not intend to use my phone without WiFi.the cabins were cute and comfortable, but the cob webs around the window, and doors were very scary. a fold up table was on the porch outside and it would have been great to use, but it was so full of webs, I did not want to touc it. cleanliness is not a high priority, and the cazbin is a bit beat up, needs some painting and some updated furniture that does not look so beat up.Dont use the sofa bead, the springs are coming up when you try to sleep.Its a shame the owner does not keep up the cabins, they are lovely and have so much potential

Was pleasantly surprised

The house was very clean and tidy when we arrived! The location is strange, it's on a dock with RV's cramped on both sides of the house. But there was water near by and it was a nice clean trailer home.

Carpets were gross and the furniture was as well. Moldings were swelled and rotted. Bath fan/vent needed cleaned. No TV. Fold out couch was terrible. I never write reviews, but this was bad. And we couldn’t reach any management while we’re there. We were kind of stuck. There was no where else to stay that was close. If it were cheaper by half we wouldn’t have been as disappointed. Live and learn.

We stayed in the "Deluxe cottage" There was nothing "deluxe" about this cottage. The cottage was a single wide, small trailer. The trailer is in desperate need in some upkeep, new paint, and some deep cleaning. The lack of attention to cleaning was apparent. We found a previous guest dirty, rubber boots behind a kitchen chair. The website photos are misleading. The view from our deck was a dumpster and clubhouse. The RV next to us was parked so close that their awing was touching our cottage. We had to close the blinds for privacy. There is no access to cable and WiFi in the cottage. A 13 inch TV and VCR combo is what is provided. The pool and hot tub were closed, and the very, outdated rec room did not provide the equipment needed to use the pool or ping pong tables. The morning after our first night we were greeted with no hot water. Being completely frustrated with this so-call resort we cut our stay short and check out that morning. Trying to speak with the on-site manager was salt in wound. No apologies and he turned his back on me and responded no one else has complained. I’m currently working with the corporate office in hopes of getting a refund.
